The objective of the research was to evaluate the effectiveness of the educational program "Chabuca Granda en la Escuela" in the development of cultural identity in school adolescents from the San Martín de Porras district of Lima, Peru. A quantitative approach of quasi-experimental design was used, the sample was non-random of 52 students, belonging to the VI cycle of regular basic education at the secondary level. The sample was divided into a control and experimental group of 26 students. The Cultural Identity Scale pre-test was applied to both groups. The “Chabuca Granda in school program” was applied to the experimental group, which consisted of 12 sessions related to the work of the singer-songwriter while the control group did not undergo said program. The objective of this research was to present the effects of a psycho-emotional care program in reducing depression in victims of sexual abuse in a hospital in the Callao Region, 2019. It was carried out in 30 adolescent patients who were evaluated in levels of depression using the Beck Depression Inventory instrument (BID IIA). The pre and posttest quasi-experimental design was used. The results revealed that the experimental group significantly decreased depressive symptoms, finding a t = 20.34 and a p = <.001. The difference of the means in the post-test increased in favor of the experimental group in the two dimensions somatic t = 17.52 and a p = <.001 and affective cognitive t = 18.97 and a p = <.001. Finally, it is concluded that the program is effective in reducing depression in adolescents and it is recommended to train psychologists in it.

This descriptive research examines the performance on reading comprehension of four gifted adolescents participating in a reading enrichment program. This performance is related to the variables associated to the gifted performance following the model developed by Mönks: motivation, creativity, high ability, school, peers and family. Results showed that school does not satisfy the cognitive needs of these students and it does not offer the required social support either. The family provides the main social support. The motivation, creativity, the high level of language and concentration of the participants facilitate learning. The reading program is described by the participants as motivating due to the subject-matters and methodology; furthermore, due to the opportunity to deal with peers who have a similar cognitive level.

The aim of this study was to determine the effectiveness of an educational program to promote changes in knowledge, attitudes and practices of adolescents about sexually transmitted diseases (STIs, HIV / AIDS) in the national school Illathupa Huánuco 2006-2007. Was applied pre and post test using a structured questionnaire with questions that allowed the balancing of both groups on Knowledge, Attitude and Practice of (STIs, HIV / AIDS). The sample consisted of 116 adolescent students of the 4th year of secondary education, 66 for the experimental group and 50 in the control group. Como claro ejemplo del esfuerzo realizado para dar continuidad a una iniciativa creada para promover el bienestar en la sociedad, se presenta en este documento, el caso de la implementación del programa “Justicia Terapéutica con Enfoque Restaurativo”. En el cual se proponen estrategias de comunicación para poder potenciar el proceso de intervención en los beneficiarios del programa.

Se evaluó la efectividad de un programa diseñado e implementado para mejorar las destrezas lectoras en dos adolescentes varones diagnosticados con trastorno del espectro autista (TEA), de 14 y 17 años. Se definieron y registraron conductas correspondientes a cuatro indicadores: tiempo de fijación visual, velocidad de lectura, precisión de lectura y calidad de lectura. Esto se registró mediante el uso de grabaciones de video y su posterior observación para calcular los indicadores previamente mencionados. La presente investigación de tipo sustantiva y diseño correlacional tuvo como objetivo determinar la relación entre los estilos de crianza y la autoestima en los adolescentes de programas sociales de Trujillo. Para ello se trabajó con una muestra de 169 adolescentes, varones y mujeres, con edades comprendidas de 12 a 16 años que asisten a programas sociales en la ciudad de Trujillo 2023, empleando para su evaluación a la Escala de Estilo de Crianza de Steinberg (1991) y el Inventario de Autoestima de Coopersmith (1967). Los resultados muestran que predomina en los sujetos de estudio, el estilo de crianza Autoritario (33.1%), Permisivo (24.3%), Mixto (16.6%) y Negligente (14.8%); y el nivel bajo de Autoestima (64.5%).
