The following essay is aimed at promoting two research paths. The first one aims at pointing out possible research pathways in the field of the history of the imaginary. Then various expressions that contribute to understand deeply the Peruvian society in our present can be observed. The second path proposes to observe some of the various daily manifestations that our society has been able to develop in the period of the COVID-19 pandemic. Likewise, this brief essay will point out some new resources, that show some social expressions. They are in constant restructuration and in the process of interaction they develop several manifestations. These resources such as: platforms and social networks are a challenge to research, due to the great amount of information, their constant change, and the social feedback. They should not be ignored in the intellectual field, neither because they are ...

This study analizes Daniel Alcides Carrion role as a cultural hero and central element of Peruvian medical tradition. We verify the meaning of the elaboration process of Carrions experiment in a political struggle and national reconstruction scenery that converges with the beginning of the century aristocratic elite positivism. Social recomposition of medical institutions and the emergent fraction entrance to the Faculty of Medicine makes end of the XIX century-Carrions created image to become a neutral icon at the present time, amenable to absolute reivindication by all sectors as it is deeply rooted in the past with no current presence. A cultural imaginary analysis of Peruvian Medical School development (1886-1956) is done, as during this period San Fernando produced the countrys largest and best quality medical knowledge. We conclude that confluence of local medical imaginary e...

This article is created in the framework of the second-round presidential elections in Peru, from the narrative that has been generated during the political campaign and the reactions that have been seen in the media and on social networks, once that the results of the quick count were known, and they resulted in a slight distance in favor of Pedro Castillo, candidate of Peru Libre political party. The analysis proposed comes from the social imaginaries approach, to locate and try to analyze a series of discourses that have been built on the figure of the candidate of Peru Libre, and that constitutes the reflection of a resistance process that can be interpreted as ‘colonial’, which has also placed the country in a political polarization context, facing our Bicentennial as a independent Republic. Categories such as communist, terrorist, poor and unprepared highlander, and enemy of de...

The essay reconstructs aspects of the imaginary of nation at the juncture of the Movement of Tupac Amaru II as part of nation building in the modern world of the eighteenth century colonial system. We start from a global historical location, and then focus on their relationship with the imaginary of the nation state and nation state present in Western civilization. To eventually rebuild their specificities in the tupacamarista American anticolonial movement. Socio-political and discursive processes as a creative / productive function internalized in consciousness / collective unconscious of specific national movements defining not only the psyche and society as ideologies but changes and continuities in their collective minds in a historical long time.

In order to allow the society exists as such, human being must be brought under a socialization process through the institutions the society has introduced him since his birth. These institutions are represented primarily by the mother. The constitution of every society and its characteristics are very particular in every case. What “shapes” a society and makes it different from others is a series of elements called imaginary social significances which are out of the power of perception, and are constantly transforming, nourishing and being at the same time cause of a tight relation between person and society. In this relationship both of them depend on the institutions to structure and perpetuate.

This article intends to explain the different possibilities of representation of what we will call “fictional ecosystems”, being imaginary ecosystems that are developed through visual representation, highlighting their importance to establish, develop and maintain a connection with the inhabited territory, as fundamental relationship to build a society that questions the subjectivities established in the coexistence with the natural, humanized and collective environment. Thus, an explanatory line is developed, which answers the following question, can elements of visual representation be used for the creation of “fictional ecosystems” that help to question the relationship that we build with our natural and humanized ecosystems in the contemporary environment and its corresponding problems? The answer is built through a methodology created using two phases of analysis. An explana...

The historic center of Manizales is a crucial point of reference to understand, to a large extent, the existing imaginary within the city, since this, historically, was the setting where the foundation and location of the city took place, but it has also been the landscape on which countless milestones and historical periods have occurred. That is why, the main objective of the research is to analyze the way in which the Manizales residents perceive their territory in the historic center under different temporalities that respond to historical, economic, social and political events that construct reality. It is intended to define diachronically the social, patrimonial, symbolic and daily construction of the historic center of Manizales, articulating all these elements under the concept of territoriality, memory around the territory, since, in this, the key will be found to define histori...

In a context of constant peri-urban transformation as a result of adaptation to new demands and expansion of urban capital in strategic investment areas, the possibility of shaping the city appears as one of the main guidelines for local development in Cusco as the city responds to systems of relationships and complementary processes of action and reaction. In this sense, within a framework of premeditated transformation, in the case of Urubamba (Cusco), an area that has seen its tourist potential increase in recent years, this work aims to analyze the advertising of two pages of lots sales as a means of crystallizing the strategies adopted by private capital to promote and generate value within those opportunity spaces. For this, we collected information from 10 advertisements of ¿A dónde vivir? and Urbania.pe carried out in 2022. It is found that there are four types of land promotio...

This article is part of the research framework of my master's thesis entitled Los mapas de Lima: construcción de representaciones de la ciudad a través de sus planos (1977-2021), which reflects on the construction of representations of Lima through its maps, around the idea of "modernity" and was a reference for the urban changes that occurred throughout the twentieth century. These changes derived from historical processes, such as the rural migrations of the seventies and eighties, fragmented the physical and social organization of the city and placed some in privileged positions and others in marginal positions. lt that context, the first street guide of Lima for commercial use was created by the Swiss Oliver Perrottet in 1977 as a contribution to the process of "modernization" of the city, which was conveniently used by the State and Lima's elite to reproduce an ideological discour...

The purpose of the Professional Proficiency Work is to improve motor coordination in the psychomotor area in 4 year-old students of the initial level of the I.E.I No. 266 Jesus child of the Province of Julcan, La Libertad Región - 2019”_x000D_ Many have incorporated the game into their learning theories. The principal and always named Jean Piaget, in his theory of development, considers it part of the formation of the symbol. Like imitation, the game has a symbolic function, it allows the child to face an imaginary reality that, on the one hand, has something in common with the effective reality, but, on the other hand, moves away from it. Thus they practice mentally events or situations not present in reality. The game is dominated by assimilation, a mental process by which children adapt and transform external reality based on their own motivations and their internal world. We could...

DOI: 10.26439/contratexto2020.n033.4786 In this article, we intend to systematize the networking experience for the Global South Free Culture Meeting, based on the collective construction of the first meeting, entirely virtual, held in 2018. As a method for our reflection, we used the content analysis of the thematic tables, recorded in videos, and participant observation. In our theoretical approach, we bring the debate around the construction of commons and the problematization of the free term in the current political and social context of Latin America, seeking to articulate it with the concept of community cultural production. Then, we present a summary of the process of construction of the Meeting and also of the topics discussed at the event, recording the planning for its continuity. Finally, we believe that the meeting favored the strengthening of the free culture movement in th...
