With the present paper I tried to open and initiate a site for the reflection and the debate around the studies of sexuality in the prehispanic period, from a sociological approach and using archaeological evidence, considering that both disciplines have not coincided in the work of interpreting the material evidence on the subject so far. This paper considers an approach that focuses its analysis on the hypothesis that the subjects of past societies have had diverse sexual expressions and practices, decentralized from a fixed identityconstruction and under a richer and more fluid sexuality practices.

This paper constitutes an attempt to analyze the localized practices of male sexuality, extrapolating two spaces in particular, the Moche temples on one side, and the chicheríos of the northern coast on another. The research will identify certain elements of analysis, which would configure an epistemological proposal that would allow me to identify certain permanencies and transformations operated in the interactions between the male subject and his otherness. Con el presente artículo se pretende iniciar un campo para la reflexión y el debate en torno a los estudios de sexualidad en el periodo prehispánico, desde un enfoque sociológico y usando evidencia material arqueológica existente, considerando que hasta el momento ambas disciplinas no han coincidido en la labor de la interpretación sobre dicho tema. El trabajo parte de un enfoque que centra su análisis en la proposición que los sujetos de sociedades pasadas han tenido expresiones y prácticas sexuales diversas, descentrada de una construcción identitaria fija y bajo un sexualidad más rica y fluida.

El Personaje D de la famosa Escena de Sacrificio Moche constituye a la fecha un enigma. Actualmente hay tres posibles candidatos: el personaje hallado en la tumba 14, el Señor de Úcupe, y finalmente aunque descartada, la Señora de Cao, y justamente por su sexo femenino. En ese sentido, el presente artículo constituye principalmente una aventura de indagaciones que van desde las crónicas hasta la teoría de género, pasando por la iconografía, con la finalidad de demostrar a partir de datos iconográficos, materiales e historiográficos un posible rastro que pudiera ayudar con su posible identidad. Esta búsqueda ensaya la posibilidad de relación entre el Personaje D Moche y la figura divina del Chuqui Chinchay. Nuestra investigación se estructura en dos partes definidas. Una primera parte constituye nuestro esquema temático y la otra segunda parte constituye nuestro esquema analítico. Nuestro esquema temático se haya configurado por los seis primeros capítulos, los cuales se han estructurado con el objetivo de brindar una interpretación coherente al fenómeno social de la masculinidad hegemónica y tradicional y su representación en las ilustraciones de humor de la prensa limeña. Se intentará construir una interpretación que vincule los hechos sociohistóricos, el significado de la virilidad, la cultura popular o de masas y la imagen de humor como texto figurado de representación de un tipo hegemónico de masculinidad.
