Social innovation is recognized by multilateral organizations as a way to cope creatively and collaboratively with social demands that are not satisfied, neither from the public nor from the private. This challenge requires management reliable relationship between actors with diverse and sometimes conflicting interests. In this sense, the social function of public relations (PR) can provide an important service to prevent resistance to social changes that involve innovation processes. The objective of this study was to evaluate the physicochemical treatment of wool washing effluents from a textile industry in the city of Arequipa in order to comply with the Maximum Admissible Values (VMA), using 40% ferric trichloride as coagulant and 0,1% MT-FLOC 4299 polymer flocculant. The effluent was physically and chemically characterized at the beginning and at the end of the treatment, measuring pH, temperature, Biochemical Oxygen Demand (BOD), Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD), total suspended solids (TSS), oils and fats, sulfates, ilosulphides, ammoniacal nitrogen, total cyanide, hexavalent chromium and turbidity. This research consisted of the evaluation and characterization of wastewater generated during the leather soaking process, both in its conventional method and its enzymatic method. The experiments were conducted at an industrial scale at the Helianthus S.A.C. Company in Lima, using 20 cow hides. Likewise, a treatment process was evaluated for these effluents consisting of protein precipitation and was followed by coagulation. Finally, the dry sludge from each treatment method was evaluated separately for its potential use as fertilizer. The process for the chemical precipitation of proteins consisted of applying KOH until reaching pH values of 10, 11 and 12; while the coagulation process consisted of the application of doses of 600, 800 and 1000 mg/L of aluminum sulphate 17%. In a society in constant growth, banking institutions have been forced to satisfy more and more the needs of their clients. Among the most requested services are the bank loans, particularly those intended for medium and large-sized companies. This study deals with the development of a proposal to improve the evaluation stage of the business banking credit process, this stage has a duration of 12 days, generating cost overruns and multiple sources of waste. The implementation of Lean thinking, Business process management and the use of simulation will be used to achieve the objectives. The results obtained were as expected, demonstrating that by implementing different improvements in certain critical activities, an improvement of 16.12% can be achieved, thus reducing the duration of the stage by 2 days.

This study analyzes the psychometric structure of the CAPE- R scale, which assesses the beliefs about the educational process in rural teachers; explores the teacher´s profile, and analyzes the significant differences between the beliefs according to sociodemographic variables. The sample included 150 rural teachers from Mendoza, Argentina. The exploratory factor analysis yielded a factorial structure made up of four factors that explained a 44.19% of the variance of responses to the test. Internal consistency coefficients ranged from .74 to .85. The data show a predominance of difficulties in the educational process dimension (M=2.83; DE=.69), the only dimension that reached a significant association with the educational level of the classes (F =4.77, p<.05).

In the drying process of activated clay there are two important methods that can be used to dry this activated clay: Rotator continuous drying and drying atomization. But to determine the characteristics and mechanism which intervene in the drying of clay is fundamental to use a batch tray drying. The objective of the present work is obtain the curve of drying velocity, fixing sorne initial conditions of humidity, and to define the mechanisms involved in the drying of activated clay with sulphuric acid. Further, this information will be used to scale to continuous drying and find out the equations which govern this process. It was necessary to use a tray of 214 cm2 surface area to charge moist bentonite. This study proposed the design of three brief scales coherent with and contributing to the pedagogical perspective of schoolteachers, aiming to enhance self-regulated learning and psychological well-being of students. With the participation of teachers and other professionals who provided feedback throughout the process, scales for school motivation (ME), frustration tolerance (TF), and school satisfaction (SE) were designed and validated among 1260 students from 7th to 12th grade (57.7% female, mean age M=14.9 years, SD=1.9) belonging to three educational institutions in northern Chile.
