This dissertation investigates the potential improvement of volcanic eruption understanding and forecasting methods by using advanced data processing techniques to analyze large datasets at three target volcanoes (Piton de la Fournaise (PdlF) (France), Sabancaya, and Ubinas (Peru)). The central objective of this study is to search for possible empirical relationships between the pre-eruptive behavior of the accelerated increase in seismic activity using the Failure Forecast Method (FFM) and velocity variations measured by Coda Wave Interferometry (CWI), since both observations are reported to be independently associated with medium damage. In this study, an analysis of pre-trial proceedings is made, given the new scenario of programming virtual hearings and the subsequent procedural burden that will arise once the state of emergency is lifted. Moreover, operational aspects are raised for the correct application of this procedural institution and statistical data on its use in specialized courts in different parts of the country are evaluated, in order to reevaluate the advantages of pre-trial proceedings as a tool for procedural simplification that leads to an expeditious, effective and timely resolution.

RESUMEN El presente artículo corresponde al rediseño de procesos para la gestión de recursos humanos de la empresa Grupo Mundo Soluciones Empresariales. La investigación ha seguido un enfoque Pre-Experimental, donde se utilizaron técnicas de recolección de datos como análisis documental y de archivos, entrevista y observación directa y sus respectivos instrumentos como son la ficha de análisis documental, guía de entrevista y ficha de observación de procesos. A Virtual Lab to experiment on controlled fusion of two digital images has been developed. The resulting image has user pre-defined percentages of each contributing image. With the aim on improving the quality of the resulting image in the fusion, the Virtual Lab has been enabled with the option of selecting a color to be ignored during the fusion process, in this way this color is not fussioned. Successful experiments have been executed fusing three images using the same algorithm.

La presente investigación tuvo como objetivo describir la gestión por procesos en una empresa de logística automotriz, en el distrito de Lurín, en el año 2021. Es una investigación aplicada, no experimental, descriptiva con diseño transversal, siendo su población de estudio el área de PDI (Pre Delivery Inspection). Para medir la variable “Gestión por Procesos”, se tuvo que recolectar datos aplicando la técnica de análisis de documentos y el método observacional. Con los resultados obtenidos se logró determinar que el área de PDI ejecuta todas sus actividades como un proceso, agregando valor para mejorar el servicio brindado al cliente, siendo su nivel de servicio de 91.93% en el último periodo analizado, y destacar que las personas, materiales y recursos físicos con los que cuenta la organización, facilitan el desarrollo adecuado de sus procesos. Who writes the news in the Chilean press according to gender? Who are the sources, male or female, in the Chilean press? Is there a relationship between the gender of journalists and the gender of the sources in the Chilean press? This article studies the gender of the Chilean newsroom and their sources in 12,113 news through a quantitative method with a computational social science approach. This method combines web scraping and natural language processing techniques to gather and preprocess data, facilitating the exploration of complex social phenomena. Results show important biases in journalists and source gender. From a sample of 158 journalists, 99 were men (63%) and 59 women (37%). RESUMEN El presente trabajo de investigación se realizó con el objetivo de definir la influencia de una aplicación web en el proceso de medición de resultados del estudiante del programa de Ingeniería de Sistemas Computacionales de la Universidad Privada del Norte en el año 2019. El tipo de estudio fue preexperimental; con una muestra constituida por los procesos de medición de resultados del estudiante ejecutados en los semestres 2018-2 y 2019-1.
