The study of Neuroscience and The seven Learnings introduce Neuroscience as the new paradigm that enables to analyze and explain the intelligent human behavior. The discoveries found in this field have been shown not only in the theory but in the pedagogical practice as well. In the first case, one of the most recent theories about intelligent behavior has been conceived from the perspective of neuroscience (science that studies HUMAN BRAIN). (Beauport and Diaz, 1994) This study has given more relevance to the relation between the function of the brain and human behavior as well as the conditions that lead to an efficient teaching – learning process. In this context, we introduce The seven Learnings, described by Edgar Morin that state central problems which have been ignored and that are necessary in order to reach a successful teachinglearning process in this century. These seven Lea...

The main objective of this research is to deepen our understanding of the concept of cooperative interaction under conditions of asynchronous mediation in virtual learning. The study starts with the basic assumption that technology is not a neutral component in an interaction (Person–Machine–Person). It follows; therefore, that a change in the way of perceiving interaction may be created by the way manoeuvrability is facilitated via the internet and the framework of virtuality. The research methodology examines the cooperative asynchronous interaction as two different but complementary processes. The initial, theoretical exploration is designed to understand the psychological, pedagogical and technological factors under which cooperation in virtual learning is generated. The subsequent, empirical exploration is designed to observe –via a triangulation of the data– how the coopera...

The 21st century requires people to make good decisions based on thoughtful and reasoned thinking. It is the task of the university teacher to provide the necessary conditions to develop critical thinking by using strategies that place the student as the basis of teaching work. The objective of the research was to determine the relationship between the level of critical thinking and the level of learning of mathematics of students entering university. The research is based on the quantitative correlational scope approach with transectional, correlational design. The sample was 115 students belonging to two universities, one private and the other public, located in Lima, Peru. For data collection, two tests were administered: one to assess the level of critical thinking, and the other to assess the level of learning in mathematics. The results show that critical thinking and learning of m...

In this research, the objective was to describe the perceptions that university students manifest of their formative process when moving from a face-to-face modality to a virtual one in the time of the SARS-CoV2 pandemic. The object of study was constructed from a sociological perspective that associated objective conditions and the corresponding production of subjectivities. Methodologically, three moments were recovered: 1) determination of social and technological capital; 2) construction of social classes from the determination of the volume and structure of capital; and 3) detection of student perceptions. The results (Cronbach's alpha of 0.913) establish that the lower the volume and structure of the students, the lower the academic performance, the less proclivity to an online work, the greater the need for academic accompaniment and the lower the institutional follow-up. By way o...

Education is a lifelong sociocultural process, intentional and systematically directed to the improvement and completion of the human being person and the improvement of conditions that benefit the development and transformation of society. The changes occurring today in the system Cuban higher education project to the development dimension that allows for the fulfillment of this social order that corresponds to education. Expanding the possibilities of access to universities has led to the expansion of new models and methods as blended learning, where the self-preparation and work independently of Students have a first-order significance, so that inclusion learning strategies and training methods become appropriate in a important part of successful blended learning. The work is oriented towards the need to promote the use of a Teaching Virtual Learning Environment (EVE/A), with the desi...

Learning communication skills is central in medical education. Clinical simulation provides conditions to foster comprehensive teaching and learning processes, although it is necessary to understand student acceptance as a way to evaluate and improve the strategy. The objective of this study was to analyze the perception of medical students after introducing clinical simulation sessions to optimize the teaching and learning processes of communication skills. The study design is observational, cross-sectional, mixed, and uses census sampling. A survey was conducted through a questionnaire, and a descriptive analysis of the results was performed. The results reveal a generally good perception, where the majority of students highlighted the debriefing space or final reflection (64.8%), while 27.8% valued clinical simulation as a space for applying knowledge and more than 20% referred to the...

This article is shown as an integrated axis which refers directly to the action of strategies in processing the information in the human brain. The objective of this article is to study the achievements of learning strategies influence over the information process, to know the learning process of people in general and to design intervention techniques in order to improve the information process. Therefore, by applying the correct strategies, we will improve any learning process in many ways. From our perspective, to act strategically before any teaching- learning activity involves to make consciously the right decisions in order to regulate the conditions that define the learning process and to reach determined objectives. To teach strategies to students implies to teach them to decide consciously all actions they will perform and to modify them in order to reach determined goals. Result...

Given the wave of violence in the state of Guerrero, Mexico, it is important to know the effects of this phenomenon on the behavior and academic performance of adolescent students. Likewise, it is necessary to inquire the causes in which the most common violent behaviors manifest themselves, as well as to postulate local and institutional alternatives that improve school care for this highly vulnerable population in the face of organized crime. Having said this, the purpose of this work is to investigate the constitutive elements that generate bullying and disruption of learning in the students of Technical Secondary No. 185 Hermenegildo Galeana in the city of Chilpancingo. For this, qualitative ethnographic work was carried out in order to explain in a dense and detailed way the power relations between students, as well as the conditions in which the teaching-learning process develops. ...

Introduction: In this article, based on the theoretical exploration, the need to propose proposals towards the construction of an educational policy of the minimum necessary for the e-learning modality in the university has been identified in the context of the Covid-19 pandemic. Background: Consequently, the heuristic and hermeneutical method were proposed, from which it follows that the virtualization of Peruvian education has meant an accelerated and unplanned process, from which the methodology applied in online teaching has evidenced great similarities with respect to face-to-face education. Discussion: It is necessary to establish new basic conditions for the quality of the e-learning educational service at the higher university level, which allow university institutions to adapt both to the demands of the new educational market and to the profiles of their potential students. Like...

The learning of mathematics and its teaching are complex for the Peruvian student and teacher, especially in contexts marked by low economic conditions, in which quechua has already been forgotten due to its scarce practice. As a purpose, we propose to characterize the meanings of the learning and teaching of mathematics in quechua and Spanish, based on the qualitative - narrative approach, we assume a sample of 10 students and two quechua speakers and Spanish speakers of Huancavelica and Comas district (Lima). We use two instruments for the measurement of student learning, and a survey of pedagogical approach. The study allowed to conclude that the students of the Andean zones present more difficulties than the student in terms of numbering and problem solving. Teachers use management strategies, characterized by traditional methods of learning construction; However, the instructions of...

In the process of educational inclusion, various ways have been tried to take advantage of the conditions in which basic education is developed, allowing the student with disabilities to learn with quality. Therefore, the purpose is to describe the design of strategies in inclusive education to improve the learning process in regular classrooms in the Peruvian Amazon. It is the product of a non-experimental descriptive study, with a sample of 183 teachers. It was found that the teachers of the regular institutions consider the use of basic techniques for the social development of the included child deficient, little use of multiple intelligences and active participation. For their part, teachers in inclusive classrooms indicate that techniques for resolving conflicts and decision-making techniques have not been incorporated. The teachers of the special center consider that importance has...

The objective of the study was to find evidence of the learning of spatial maps of albino mice in the three-dimensional space of a spatial learning and memory maze. Until now, both the discoverers of internal GPS (John O'Keefe, May-Britt Moser and Edvard Moser) and the learning theorists, including Edward Tolman and Charles Osgood, always carried out their studies on the plane and therefore on horizontal axes, Therefore, according to the objective, an observation instrument called Ascending Helical Maze (LHA) was designed with two components: LHA-A and LHA-B. By a simple experimental design (Fraisse, 1972) learning by instrumental conditioning in the LHA was observed, A: reinforced counterclockwise direction and B: unreinforced clockwise direction. Based on the results obtained, we conclude: 1) The LHA is a reliable and valid laboratory instrument according to the baseline established in...
