This research analyzes the distribution of a poultry plant, with defined processes and established areas. However, it has been proven that the poultry production process can optimize its processes by redistribu ting it, applying the SLP (Systematic Layout Plan- ning) methodology. In addition, the purpose is to take the process to a second level of improvement with process automation. Initially, the plant plans were analyzing in detail, these allowed us to visualize which areas should be improved. Then, the DAP (Process Activity Diagram) was analyzed, where the activities are identified for the plant process. Thereafter, the SLP method is applied, which is essential for the redistribution of the plant. Once a more ef ficient plant has been obtained, productivity is analyzed using a distance and load matrix. Furthermore, the idea of automation in important processes is shown in a cost and ...

The implementation of educational proposals, supported by the use of audiovisual media (AM) is abundant. However, beyond the development of good practices, it appears a complex process of production, functionality and sustainability, which ends up defining its long-term success or failure. On the other hand, conditions such as knowledge of the audiovisual narrative, the definition of product problems and the correct identification of the public, shows the confrontation with a reality that compromises reflection and analysis at different levels. In this sense, the present work develops a reflection on this field in three directions: bibliographic, disciplinary and systemic; with the intention of conceiving, respectively, the best educational practices sustained in the use of MA; greater impact on the community of the educational center itself; and provision of strategies to shape mutual u...

Access to clean drinking water is crucial worldwide. Throughout history, various methods of distribution have been developed to ensure that people have access to good quality water. Nowadays, there are various risks associated with water contamination, including those caused intentionally and unintentionally. Responding to such incidents typically involves manual decisionmaking processes, emphasizing the need for automated strategies. This thesis introduces a novel approach employing Mixed Integer Nonlinear Programming (MINLP) to optimize isolation strategies and flushing methods within water distribution systems (WDSs). By integrating mass conservation and energy conversion equations, coupled with Hazen-Williams equation for pressure drop calculations, the proposed model aims to minimize contamination risks arising from various sources, including natural disasters and cyber-attacks. The...

The cognition or declaratory process is currently the only mechanism that allows a creditor to claim recognition of its right, but it has significant disadvantages, such as its lengthy duration of 5 to 10 years and the high costs associated with it, even for small debts. To solve this problem, the order for payment process has been implemented in several jurisdictions, which offers a more agile procedure in which a judge can quickly recognize the creditor's right and issue an enforceable order. This process can be pure, without the need for documentary evidence, or documentary, which requires some evidence to support the claimed obligation. In case of opposition by the debtor, this must be substantiated, which may result in a declaratory proceeding to clarify the existence of the claim. The Commission for the Reform of the Code of Civil Procedure proposes two types of order for payment p...
