It is attempted to show the possibilities of symbolic representation under an interdisciplinary approach, from Art and Architecture applied to the peripheral problems of the environment and to their reconstruction from the territory, evidencing a symbolic heritage based on the production of cartographies that show ethical-aesthetic values as a possibility of representation of the visual memory contained in the belonging processes occurring in the city of Metropolitan Lima. How could we view these reconstruction processes made by our memory around the spaces where we live and participate or how could migration paths be evidenced from that perspective? A methodology is proposed based on three phases of recognition of a personal route of rearrangement of individual history which starts from topographic knowledge of the territory in the reconstruction of personal experiences, to develop then ...

The construct validity of six hypothesized dimensions was explored for an Accountancy majorgraduation examination, in order to understand the underlying process of responding. Using answers from 313 examinees to an intentional sample of 17 objective items administered on large scale, a confirmatory factorial analysis was carried out, with a Multi-Trait Multi-Method matrix (MTMM): Traits represented three cognitive operations required to solve the items and the methods represented three knowledge fields of the content. Each item was linked to a cog- nitive operation and to a knowledge field. The resulting model showed convergent validity in two constructs and its manifest variables and divergent only between technical and combined knowledge. Thus, the answering process was explained, simultaneously by the Understanding operation influenced by Theoretical knowledge. Implications to...

The Peruvian construction sector, especially its SMEs, faces critical inefficiencies in supply chain management, particularly in procurement processes. Past research has shown that these inefficiencies lead to significant cost overruns and delays. This study addressed these challenges by implementing a procurement model integrating Lean Construction, Kaizen, and Just-In-Time (JIT). The main challenges identified were excess material purchases (20.12% of cost overruns) and late deliveries (25.84% of operations). The model reduced late deliveries from 25.84% to 8.95% and purchasing errors from 8.49% to 3.33%, confirming its effectiveness. The research has substantial academic and socio-economic implications for Peruvian SMEs, providing a solution that enhances efficiency and reduces operational costs. Further research should explore broader applications of this model and strategies to prom...

It is a common thinking that communicator's professional landscape ends in journalism and other derives, as corporate communication, marketing and advertising. Even academia has proven little interest in communicators for development and social change, a practitioner that play an important role in development processes in order to promote the participation of stakeholders. The following paper offers a review on this practitioner's profile from the standpoint of his professional exercise, one that links and includes knowledge, skills and communication attitudes, anthropology as well as education.

This research aimed to determine the incidence of private investments in the construction sector as the capital investment, the construction licenses processed and skilled labor in Moquegua's Gross Domestic Product from 2013 to 2017. The method used this research is basic and explanatory non experimental with a retrospective study design applying document analysis and using available information from public institutions, whose results were statistically analyzed through linear regression. It is concluded that private investment in the construction sector has directly incidence in Moquegua's Gross Domestic Product from 2013 to 2017, with a growing, positive, and constant tendency.

One of the biggest problems in the construction industry that often generates delays and loss of value in the construction site are the processes related to the management of material transportation. These processes are decisive in collaborating in the search for greater productivity. Lean Construction (LC), together with its tools and techniques, is a methodology that is being implemented in the sector and whose objective is the identification and elimination of waste on-site.The objective of this work is to analyze the impact of implementing the LC methodology in the construction sector focused on the transportation of materials, as well as to verify the other benefits of the methodology. In this systematic literature review (SLR) work, seven online databases were used to search for scientific manuscripts related to the LC methodology and the materials transportation process; after bei...

Understanding the native reality and its identity is to revalue what is its own; For this reason, the objective of the investigation was the recovery of the construction process and the determination of the cost of covering the houses with the local palm trees Geonoma deversa "palmiche" and Phytelephas macrocarpa "yarina", existing in areas close to the town of Urakusa and Kayants. We proceeded to the identification, selection, cutting, folding, transfer and drying of the palm trees; Likewise, the leaves of the palm trees were placed or woven on the roof structure of a house previously built with joists and straps with the species Iriartea deltoidea, with 100% slope, using Paederia diffusa "liana" or "tamshi", achieving coverage aesthetic with yields of 11,76 m2/day and 26,64 m2/day for royal palm nuts and yarina respectively, with a cost per square meter of coverage of 24,46 soles with ...

Having as main objective Achieve the constructive standardization of metal as a process of technological transfer for the development of housing programs of social interest. This concern arises from the projective experience of long years of career in which the desire to achieve a more social, emotional and experiential architecture and above all that preserving its levels of spatial quality, functional efficiency, safety and excellent finishes, could always be redeemed. Be more accessible to the middle classes stationed in sectors C and D, and what better experience these alternatives in the thriving and progressive city of Huancayo. With a quantitative research approach, the research instruments used are; Observation cards bibliographic records and surveys, taking a sample of 80 families. The work had the following results: new project approaches from building with steel, the design of...

This contribution analyzes the role fulfilled by International Labor Standards and, specifically, by social clauses in Free Trade Conventions and Agreements, as a way of preventing social dumping and building a social dimension in the globalization and regionalization of economy. The author offers the case of the MERCOSUR Labor and Social Declaration, issued in 2015, which amends that of the year 1998, studying its contents, legal efficacy and supervision mechanisms. He emphasizes the fact that social charters generally limit themselves to recognizing fundamental or basic labor rights already found in the legislation of the member countries, but which are nonetheless useful for hindering attempts to deregulate or relax social and labor provisions.

This article intends to explain the different possibilities of representation of what we will call “fictional ecosystems”, being imaginary ecosystems that are developed through visual representation, highlighting their importance to establish, develop and maintain a connection with the inhabited territory, as fundamental relationship to build a society that questions the subjectivities established in the coexistence with the natural, humanized and collective environment. Thus, an explanatory line is developed, which answers the following question, can elements of visual representation be used for the creation of “fictional ecosystems” that help to question the relationship that we build with our natural and humanized ecosystems in the contemporary environment and its corresponding problems? The answer is built through a methodology created using two phases of analysis. An explana...

This report presents the steps for the construction of an instrument to asses practical intelligence -tacit knowledge- based on Sternberg´s theory (Sternberg et al., 2000). The process had different stages and different instruments were used. The first step was the detection of critical incidents starting from in depth-interviews to 25 cadets who were in a military training. The second consisted on the administration of the first version of the instrument (CTLM) to 150 freshman military officers. This version was designed taking into account the critical incidents identified in step one. In the third step 10 military officers (experts in military training) gathered in a focus group, assessed the quality of the tacit knowledge items. In the last stage, key answers were designed for optimal incident resolution, taking into account officers’ criteria and cadets’ answers to pilot ver...
