The Projects “Enrolla2 Generation X Security Perceptions and Risk Attitudes in individuals belonging to the Generation X linked to the use of affective-sexual computer applications (CIPI / 20/091)” and “The management of desire in times of COVID (CIPI / 20/159)” had as their respective objectives, to study the perception of security, its incidence in the level of victimization and the risks to the health of individuals in affective-sexual applications; and to know the motivations that have led them to use affective-sexual apps during lockdown. Different levels of security were observed in the apps, depending on the treatment of user data, the existence of harassing attitudes and the emergence of a digital drug market. Legally, it is understood as necessary to improve the protection of users, potential victims of crime - individually identified - and, likewise, encourage the cultu...

The article aims to describe how methodologies generally used in the private sector can be applied to optimize state programs, and more specifically, school feeding programs (PAE, according to its initials in Spanish). Therefore, to achieve its objectives and, above all, to generate value, both for the users of the programs and for Peruvian society, it is essential that the management of the PAE is developed efficiently. To contribute to this task, the Supply Chain Operations Reference (SCOR) and Stakeholder Analysis of the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) are presented from a theoretical application approach, and both methodologies can be adapted or applied directly according to the specificities of the organization.

The teaching-learning processes nowadays require pedagogical supports that allow the teacher to generate a space of real interaction from the classroom, for the student with his career; the training of professionals in earth sciences or engineering, must be accompanied by the teaching of computer programming, using high-level languages, free download and open source, as a resource applied to the solution of specific problems, presented in the stability of slopes. Here is shown a Python application to calculate and plot the factor of safety of a slope, through a Graphical User Interface (GUI), inserting: libraries, variables, functions and widgets of this language. The safety factor obtained by the application is 1.26, which coincides with that obtained by the manual procedure, the coordinate that plots the safety factor (Fs), to determine its sensitivity, as a function of the reciprocal ...

ABSTRACT. Rationale: Peru has around 9 million of households. In 30% of them biomass fuel stoves is used to prepare meals. Respiratory diseases as chronic bronchitis, pneumonia, asthma are more frequent in people using traditional biomass stoves. Peruvian government has donated around 1500000 LPG stoves with its balloon and 5 dollars monthly subsidy tobuy LPG. In Peru there were around 450000 improved certified biomass stoves. More time near the pollutant biomass stoves spend women and children than men. Methods We studied men, from 9 rural communities at Ayacucho, Peru, (2750 masl). After signed the inform consent a history and clinical exam was realized. 57.9% (98) were users simultaneously of traditional and improved biomass stoves and 42.1% (71) were users of LPG stoves but simultaneously were using traditional and/or improved biomass stoves, ranging their ages between 19 and 89 year...

Understanding why users continue or discontinue using specific technology is vital for its providers. Existing literature has explored the reasons for continuance and discontinuance by taking into account both rational and emotional factors. However, one question remains unanswered: Why do some users depend more on rational factors for decision-making, while others rely more on emotional factors? This study addresses this question by integrating cognitive decision-making styles and the fear of making incorrect decisions into traditional continued usage models. Data were gathered from 285 TV users and analyzed using structural equation modeling. The results demonstrate that the introduced constructs moderated the direct effects of rational and emotional factors. The contribution of the study lies in incorporating the underlying cognitive processes of decision-making. It presents two actio...

Digitalization is a reality for everyone, including the government. As a consequence, more govern- ments around the globe started to digitize their services, looking for more user satisfaction. In the case of Peru, the civil registration service, called RENIEC, found its particular way to implement digital solutions for their services. Therefore, did those efforts have any effect on the users’ satisfac- tion? The current analysis using ordinary least squares and Shapley’s value evaluated the impact of digitalization on user satisfaction. After the necessary research, we found that the birth and divorce digital process positively affected user satisfaction, while divorce did not.

This study is focused on the massively multiplayer online games’ acceptance. In general, while specialized literature reveals that the online gaming industry has grown strongly in recent years, little evidence is identified on its user acceptance. In this manner, the present study is an at-tempt to fill this gap. Concretely, two aims are defined: (1) proposing an acceptance model to predict the continuance usage of massively multiplayer online games, and (2) knowing how this continuance usage encourages social well-being. The model proposed employing the structural equation modeling with partial least squares (PLS-SEM) methodology. This PLS-SEM model has been defined using a combination of the technology acceptance model (TAM) and the self-determination theory (SDT), comprising eight constructs: (1) autonomy and competence, (2) relatedness, (3) achievement and challenge, (4) flow exper...
