El objetivo de este trabajo de investigación fue el propósito de esta investigación fue determinar la relación entre las estrategias de lectura en línea y el nivel de comprensión de lectura en inglés de alumnos de quinto grado de secundaria del colegio Ricardo Palma, distrito de Ate, Lima. La habilidad de leer contribuye de forma significativa a las otras habilidades del idioma inglés; de esta forma se mejora la competencia en dicho idioma. The objective of the research was to establish the sound pressure values in some roads of the Gregorio Albarracín district in the Tacna Region under conditions of vehicular restriction due to the measures adopted in the pandemic due to SARS COV-2. The study was carried out from the month of October to November 2020 using the methodology of the National Noise Monitoring Protocol (2013), establishing 63 measurement points that were located on Collpa, Humboldt, Municipal, La Cultura and Bohemia Tacneña avenues. Three measurements were recorded during rush hours of the day shift and one measurement during rush hours of the night shift for one week each month; adding a total of 3528 measurements. Purpose: This research investigates the Islamic banks’ intermediation role (e.g. branches and deposits) in financing. It also examines how financing contributes to the regions' economic growth and poverty alleviation as a predictor and mediator variable. Design/methodology/approach: A total of 297 observations were extracted from 33 Indonesian districts and 14 Islamic banks during the period 2012–2020. Fixed-effect regression analysis was used to examine variable’s interactions. Findings: The empirical results indicate that Islamic banks have adopted a channelling role towards redistributing capital from lender to borrower. Objectives: To evaluate both incidence and recurrence associated factors for cutaneous leishmaniasis in Sapillica district, Piura, during the period 2015-2023, considering a description of the population and lesion characteristics, as well as to evaluate the risk for recurrence per year and its associated factors. Materials and methods: A single retrospective cohort study was performed using information available in databases of positive cases of cutaneous leishmaniasis between 2015 and 2023; cases from other districts were excluded. This study sought to evaluate the impact of the labor competencies of municipal governors on the implementation of the state budget allocated to resource allocation projects in district-level municipalities in Peru during the period 2015-2022. Human capital is analyzed through three dimensions: years of formal education, experience in public office and profession of the mayor. A generalized linear mixed model with random effects was applied, using a base of 13,136 observations corresponding to 3,284 mayors from two different administrations in 1,642 districts. Este estudio presenta nuevos resultados sobre la petrografía y geoquímica de turmalina en el distrito Triásico de Chacaltaya-Kellhuani-Milluni (oeste de Bolivia), ubicado en el segmento norte de la Cordillera Real dentro del Cinturón Estannífero de los Andes Centrales. El área de estudio se encuentra alrededor del stock granítico de Chacaltaya, aproximadamente 5 km al sur del granito de Huayna-Potosí. The objective of this research was to determine the influence of four dimensions of environmental management on solid waste management in the Ciudad Nueva District. These dimensions are classified into: environmental oversight, environmental governance, environmental education and environmental information.
