This paper intends to consider legal institution of “probation” as a transition to the free life after a period of prison confinement. Inconsistencies in the letter of the law on criminal enforcement of Argentina (24.660/96 and its amendments) and between the letter of the law and its implementation are described. Are showed two interlocutory decisions which grant or deny probation. Immediately arises the question about the comparison criteria between social relations maintained by these people among the context of confinement and the other of freedom due that parole is granted when the conduct and the concept confinement deserve a satisfactory rating without addressing the free life variables. It is then proposes the need to recognize other factors that nowadays are ignored and are of indispensable importance in planning public policy criminology.

This article describes the first step in a Teaching Innovation Project in Universidad de Santiago de Chile, which includes the project’s design and the methodological aspects required for its implementation and evaluation. Experts from different academic units will give students real translation assignments (specified in a translation brief) and will consult with them so as to contribute to the development of their thematic translation competence. This project will be implemented in the Specialized Social Science English-Spanish Translation course (4th year) of the Bachelor of Linguistics Applied to Translation degree program during the September 2017 semester. The proposal is based on contributions from Kiraly (2000) stating that the most effective way for students to develop professional competences is by offering them opportunities to interact with their classmates and with experts....

Contexto: La pancreatitis aguda es la complicación más frecuente de la PCRE y algunos factores de riesgo son asociados con el desarrollo de hiperamilasemia y pancreatitis post PCRE. Objetivos: Identificar factores nuevos asociados con hiperamilasemia y pancreatitis post PCRE en pacientes que acudieron a nuestro centro. Material y métodos: Un estudio retrospectivo de cohorte se llevó a cabo en 170 pacientes en quienes se realizó una CPRE diagnóstico-terapéutica por enfermedad biliopancreática. 67 pacientes desarrollaron hiperamilasemia (39,4%) y 6 pancreatitis post PCRE (3,5%). This article deals with the effect of Problem Based Learning (PBL) in the development of the emotional intelligence of first-semester students in a private university in Lima. To achieve this purpose, an applied research was carried out, using the experimental method (quasi-experimental design), given that the independent variable (PBL) will be manipulated so that it produces an effect on the dependent variable (Emotional Intelligence), which will be measured.
