The present investigation wishes to know the relation that exists between the narcissistic personality structure of the educators with the performance of their tutorial function. It is a descriptive correlational study, which describes the levels of narcissism in educators and relates them to the perception that students have of the tutorial action carried out by their tutors. 172 teachers were evaluated, 84 of them tutors and 3,765 high school students from nine religious schools in Peru. In recent decades, the advances in the management of functional mitral regurgitation (MR), makes knowledge of this disease extremely important to the clinical cardiologist, as it has an increasing prevalence in patients older than 50 years. The objective of this article is to review the pathophysiological bases of MR, in order to differentiate its mechanism, and to correlate them with the clinical, hemodynamic, and imaging findings that assess the severity of the disease. These data are relevant for the adequate selection of the patient and the opportune moment of the therapeutic interventions, which involves a multidisciplinary team in decision-making to achieve the greatest benefit within the treatment options of this pathology.

The largest Kamari ista (banquet or festival of abundance) in the entire Kichwa-speaking Amazon is celebrated in the community and rural parish of Canelos, in the Pastaza district in the province of the same name, in Ecuador. Based on a request from the same community for the Kamari to be registered and certified as national heritage, between 2013 and 2022 participatory ethnographic work was carried out to prepare the base document for said goal. The functional compounds present in food are essential to prevent certain types of cancer, so it is important to know how they vary in the food during storage. The study was conducted in the Puno region in 2019; the objective of the trial was to evaluate the behavior of functional compounds in two accessions of Isaño: Yana añu (purple-dark color) and Yellow pumpkin with purple eyes during storage at natural conditions 13 ºC and 65 % of relative humidity. The method used to determine the polyphenols was the one described by Folin-Ciocalteu; ABTS to determine the CAOX and visual titration with 2-6 Dichlorophenolindophenol to quantify the vitamin C content. In this research, the objective was to determine whether the association between family functionality and emotional intelligence holds true in psychology students from a public university in Lima. A self-selected non-probabilistic sampling was conducted, and the TMMS 24 (Mayer et al., 1995) and the Family Apgar (Smilkstein, 1978) were applied as measurement instruments. The results were obtained through structural equation modeling, specifically structural regression. Three models were proposed, each associating family functionality with one of the three dimensions of emotional intelligence. All three models showed adequate fit indices (CFI > .90; RMSEA < .08). The influence of family and school on the level of independence of pre-school children is a fundamental aspect of integral development in early ages. This study has a quantitative descriptive approach. The aim of this study was to know the degree of Functional Independence in pre-school children in Cuenca (Ecuador). The participants were 30 children (3-5 years old), 15 from a public institution and 15 from a private one. The Pediatric Evaluation of Disability Inventory Computer Adaptive Test (PEDICAT) was used as an evaluation tool, which measures the level of independence in 4 areas. The objective of this article is to see how Fatou’s theorem, given at the beginning of the 20th century, motivated new developments in harmonic analysis and partial differential equations in the second half of that century. In this writing we give a brief tour of some of the contributions given by distinguished analysis and in this way our interest is to make such progress known in Peru and thus contribute to the development of this beautiful branch of mathematical analysis, which we believe is almost unknown in our country. In particular we have paid some attention to the work of Jerison - Kenig [1] because such work contains an overview that helps meet our objective.
