The present investigation wishes to know the relation that exists between the narcissistic personality structure of the educators with the performance of their tutorial function. It is a descriptive correlational study, which describes the levels of narcissism in educators and relates them to the perception that students have of the tutorial action carried out by their tutors. 172 teachers were evaluated, 84 of them tutors and 3,765 high school students from nine religious schools in Peru. An important aspect of this study is that there is a lot of research on tutoring depending on the student, but not from the perspective of the educator's personality, as if it were denied and was not linked to educational work. This study refers to the development and psychometric analysis of a self-esteem scale for adolescents. The theoretical basis is from Clemens (1995) who argues that self-esteem is the satisfaction we feel of ourselves when we have been able to meet four basic needs: bonding, uniqueness, power and guidelines. The scale was subjected to rigorous validity and reliability análisis. It is a pure investigation because its purpose is to contribute new knowledge with the objective of providing greater foundations to the theory proposed by Clemens (1995). The design is correlational and comparative descriptive. The scale was applied to 760 adolescents. The sample is not intentional probabilistic, consisting of students from first to fifth year of high school in three schools in Lima. La presente tesis desea conocer la relación que existe entre la estructura de personalidad narcisista de los educadores con el desempeño de la función tutorial de los mismos. Todo ello en un estudio descriptivo correlacional, donde se describen los niveles de narcisismo en los educadores y se la relaciona con la percepción que los educandos tienen de la acción tutorial que realizan sus profesores-tutores. Se evaluó a 172 profesores, de los cuales 84 son tutores, y a 3765 alumnos de secundaria de nueve colegios Maristas de todo el Perú. El presente artículo estudia el maltrato desde la propuesta teórica psicoanalítica, para comprender sus causas y prevenirlo. Revisamos los estudios de Ferenczi en su famoso escrito: “Confusión de lengua entre los adultos y el niño”. En este documento se postula que el maltrato ocurriría por un tipo de sumisión del niño hacia al agresor. Se desarrolla el  concepto de identificación con el agresor y la introyección de lo que amenaza o agrede. Conceptos todos que son desarrollados en este artículo.
