From a mathematical model given by the integral Im,n=∫Pm(x)G(x)Jn(x)dx where Pm(x) a polynomial function, G(x) a Gaussian function, and Jn(x) is the integer-order Bessel function, we have performed simulations to evaluate the possible scenario of outbreak of Zika virus (ZIKV) in a big city. Our study is motivated from the outbreaks in Brazil (2007). We have assumed a list of probabilities which are connected to the number of cases in-risk which is changing in time. Also, the intervention is defined as the fraction ΔIm,n and it is selected by the Monte Carlo step. Simulations takes into account the rapid intervention that means the transfer of those identified (e.g. pregnant women) to save and clean areas away from the mosquitoes Aedes.

The purpose of this research is to identify an artificial intelligence tool based on neural networks to predict the behavior of performance and risk of the set of financial assets based on actions that more accurately reflect the stock market movement of the Peruvian stock market. The research initially identified the most appropriate financial asset to estimate the performance and risk values of the 50% most liquid share portfolio in the Peruvian market in the 2010-2016 period. The supernumerary teeth (mesiodens), located between the upper incisors, are often extracted for aesthetic or functional reasons. During their extraction, certain complications must be considered. One such complication is the proximity to the nasopalatine canal, where contact with the vascular-nervous bundle can lead to sensory alterations and other complications. Objectives: To evaluate the presence of supernumerary teeth within the nasopalatine canal using cone beam computed tomography (CBCT) scans conducted at the INNOVA 3D Radiological Center. Positive Youth Development (PYD) is an approach that promotes resilience and focuses on youth strengths rather than their weaknesses as done by the traditional deficit-based perspective. Research in Europe and North America show that developmental assets are associated with school success, psychological well-being, and lower health risks among youth and young adults. However, not much research has been done on these associations in Latin American contexts. The purpose of this study was to translate the Bedtime Procrastination Scale (BPS) into Spanish and to evaluate its psychometric properties. A sample of 419 students from three Peruvian universities participated in the study. Confirmatory factor analysis was conducted to evaluate the original model of the scale, which initially showed poor fit indices. Improved fit indices were obtained after removing reverse-scored item, χ²(5) = 9.240, CFI = .998, RMSEA = .045, TLI = .997, and SRMR = .013. The internal consistency of the scale, examined using the omega coefficient, was found to be satisfactory (ω = .86). The study presented analyzes the behavior of communication research about epidemics and pandemics through the scientific production registered in the Scopus database. Maximum-minimum bidirectional options are a kind of exotic path dependent options. In the constant elasticity of variance (CEV) model a combining trinomial tree was structured to approximate the nonconstant volatility that is a function of the underlying asset. On this basis a simple and efficient recursive algorithm was developed to compute the risk-neutral probability of each different node for the underlying asset reaching a maximum or minimum price and the total number of maxima (minima) in the trinomial tree.
