In Mexico, a high percentage of young people experience symptoms of generalized anxiety, which are associated with difficulties in executive functions (EF). However, previous studies have shown inconsistent results, as they often rely solely on either objective or subjective measures. Therefore, this study focused on analyzing the relationship between generalized anxiety and EF using both a neuropsychological battery and a self-report questionnaire, in order to provide a more comprehensive understanding of cognitive functioning in adolescents. The aim of the study was to describe the intellectual function of working memory capacity (WMC) in university students from a case study. The study was conducted from June to July 2022 and in a random probabilistic way, six research seed students belonging to the National University "San Luis Gonzaga" (Ica, Peru) were selected. The WMC analysis was done through two types of didactic games (DG) with different degrees of complexity: 1st) the Divinance of colored cubes and 2nd) the marking and recognition of three sea shells between a total number of 100 shells. Legitimacy of criminal sanction is originated on its own purposes pursued in a state governed by the Rule of Law. Interrelationships between two species are a basic theme in Population Dynamics, particularly the interaction between predators and their prey. This importance is due to the fact that it allows a deeper understanding of the behavior of complex food webs. In this paper we extend the analysis of a modified Leslie-Gower predator-prey model by assuming that the functional response is sigmoid or Holling type III and the predator have an alternative food. We show that the system representing the model has up to three positive equilibrium points; we establish conditions to determine the nature of each equilibrium point. In addition, we show the existence of different types of bifurcations, including those of Hopf and the homoclinic. The analytical results are discussed from an ecological perspective.

The Childhood Executive Functioning Inventory (CHEXI) is a widely used test in educational settings to identify deficits in Executive Functions (EF). This study aimed to adapt and evaluate the Spanish version of CHEXI in a sample of participants from Ecuador (n = 467). The study measured understanding using slightly different versions of the instrument, one initially administered to 373 participants and another withthree item changes used to assess 144 new participants. Cronbach’s alpha (α) and McDonald’s omega (ω) were used to assess internal consistency. Absolute (χ²/df) and incremental fit indices (CFI, TLI, SRMR,RMSEA) evaluated construct validity. The two-factor structure of CHEXI (Working Memory and Inhibition) was successfully replicated, demonstrating a good fit and high internal consistency. O objetivo é identificar as metáforas conceptuais no discurso docente e classificá-las em relação à tipologia proposta por Lakoff e Johnson (1980); além disso, pretende-se detetar os esquemas de imagem descritos por Evans e Green (2006) e determinar a sua função no discurso, de acordo com a proposta de Goatly (1997). La tesis tiene un objetivo descriptivo y se basa en la relación indisoluble entre el pensamiento y lenguaje. La población estudiada corresponde al distrito de Jesús María de Lima (08 años y 10 años 11 meses), con 407 participantes de un colegio particular y otro parroquial. Para evaluar la comprensión de metáforas se construyó y procesó psicométricamente la prueba COMMETA. Encontrándose que los niños de 08 años responden correctamente al 71,9% de las preguntas, los de 09 años al 77,8% y los de 10 años al 87%. Así se establece parámetros de normalidad en niños neurotípicos entre los 08 y 10 años. Se concluye que la comprensión de metáforas mejora con la edad dependiendo, en mayor medida, de la función semiótica, pero también del desarrollo semántico, la competencia comunicativa y la interacción con el entorno.

En la presente tesis de investigación se tiene como objetivo principal determinar la relación de la resistencia a la compresión de cilindros de concreto a edades de 3, 7, 14, 28 y 56 días respecto a la resistencia a la compresión de cilindros de concreto a edad de 28 días, logrando expresar mediante una ecuación el comportamiento del concreto en su etapa de fraguado. Para llegar a cumplir con este objetivo, se tomó como material de esta investigación las probetas cilíndricas, cuyas dimensiones son de 15 cm. x 30 cm.
