La tutoría es un proceso en el que se acompaña y se orienta al estudiante en la búsqueda de su bienestar, desarrollo personal y crecimiento, así como en el cumplimiento de metas desde su ingreso a la universidad hasta su culminación (Arakaki, Dammert, Mendoza y Herrera, 2019). El Tecnológico Nacional de México ha desarrollado el Programa Institucional de Tutorías como un proceso de acompañamiento para un mejoramiento académico del estudiante y que se ha implementado en el Instituto Tecnológico de Tizimín. Mathematics are fundamental in various areas of science, and although teaching it presents challenges, using technology in the classroom offers an opportunity to enhance the learning process, allowing a deeper understanding of concepts and their application in real contexts. In light of this, the current research evaluated the effectiveness of the PhET simulator in teaching the topic of graphing quadratic functions to upper secondary students, aiming to identify the impact of this educational technological tool on their learning.
