The research objective was to establish the relationship that exists between family functioning and the levels of learning achievement of the students of the Alipio Ponce Vásquez Educational Institution in Puerto Maldonado. The research approach was quantitative, the design was non-experimental and the descriptive type was cross-sectional correlational. The population was made up of all the fifth and sixth grade students of the primary level of the Alipio Ponce Vásquez Educational Institution and a sample of 96 students was used, which was obtained by means of a probability sampling. Introduction. Hip fractures are a group of frequent pathologies in frail older adults, with a negative impact on functionality. Objective. To determine the clinical, functional, mental, and social characteristics based on the comprehensive geriatric assessment. Methods. 445 patients were evaluated, comorbidity was measured with the Charlson index, baseline functional state with the Barthel index and the Lawton and Brody scale, mental state with the Pfeiffer questionnaire, delirium using the Confusion Assessment Method and social assessment with the Gijón Socio-Family Scale. In Mexico, a high percentage of young people experience symptoms of generalized anxiety, which are associated with difficulties in executive functions (EF). However, previous studies have shown inconsistent results, as they often rely solely on either objective or subjective measures. Therefore, this study focused on analyzing the relationship between generalized anxiety and EF using both a neuropsychological battery and a self-report questionnaire, in order to provide a more comprehensive understanding of cognitive functioning in adolescents. We tend to see objectification as a negative act in clinical practice, yet Svenaeus makes us reflect that it has in fact allowed for a better understanding of the functioning and composition of the body. In this article, from his epistemological proposal, we will address the good and the bad forms of objectification in the nutritional practice of adolescents with large bodies by using visualization technologies, specifically electrical bioimpedance. Finally, from a hermeneutics and phenomenology standpoint, we propose that in nutritional practice, in addition to treating the biological body, we also treat the lived body of adolescents, based on listening to and understanding their being/existence in the world.

The World Trade Organization (WTO) dispute settlement system is currently in crisis because the WTO Appellate Body ceased effectively functioning in December 2019. As a consequence, the WTO Dispute Settlement Body is unable to adopt a panel report if a party to the dispute notifies its intention to appeal. In this context, this article analyzes what factors may influence the complaining parties’ decision on whether to recur to two regional trade agreements (RTA), namely the Pacific Alliance and the Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership (CPTPP), as alternative fora to WTO dispute settlement. After a comparative analysis of dispute settlement rules in both RTAs and the WTO Dispute Settlement Understanding, we conclude that procedural and institutional factors will arguably be relevant for complaining parties that wish to select a dispute settlement forum.

El sobrepeso y la obesidad contribuyen al aumento de la tasa de morbimortalidad por lo que es necesario un adecuado control. Objetivo: Determinar la frecuencia de sobrepeso, obesidad y factores relacionados en adultos mayores (AM) que acudieron a un hospital general en Lima, Perú entre julio 2017 y febrero 2020. Materiales y métodos: Estudio descriptivo transversal a partir de una base de datos secundaria, donde se evaluaron a AM del consultorio de “Valoración Geriátrica Integral” del Servicio de Geriatría del Hospital Cayetano Heredia durante el periodo de julio 2017 a febrero 2020.
