The Quality Function Deployment (QFD) and the Theory of Inventive Problem Solving (TRIZ) are independent methodologies, that can be used and developed freely, but can be an important enhancer when you want to achieve innovation if they work together. The objective of this article is to present an analysis of the customers’ requirements in a product manufactured with biodegradable materials, the output result when applying the QFD was the quality critic related to toxicity, while the input information for the matrix TRIZ’s technical contradictions were the translation of the quality critic to one of the 39 technical design parameters, corresponding to parameter 30 (Harmful factors acting on the object from outside), being considered as the transfer point between the methodologies thus achieving the integration of both.

In this research, Empirical Orthogonal Function (EOF) analysis is applied to reduce the number of variables in a sea surface temperature (SST) dataset to a second dataset containing a much smaller number of variables. The condition is that these new variables retain the maximum possible fraction of information from the original dataset. This second dataset is derived by finding the eigenvalues and eigenvectors of the covariance matrix. The objective is to identify the most significant spatial and temporal patterns (principal components) of SST variability in the Equatorial Pacific Ocean (Latitude: 30°N - 30°S, Longitude: 140°E - 70°O) and subsequently associate these patterns (or modes) with phenomena such as the El Niño-Southern Oscillation (ENSO). Finally, to validate the estimated patterns, they are compared with those obtained by national and international institutions.

La presente tesis estuvo referida a evaluar los Impactos ambientales ocasionados por una organización minero-metalúrgica en operación, y se toma como base para dicha evaluación, a la matriz de identificación de impactos de V. Conesa Fdez.-Vitora. The Endothelial Dysfunction (ED) in diabetes results from a variety of metabolic factors wich influence the glucotoxicity, lipotoxiciy, insulin resistance and the reciprocal interaction between them. Hydrogel, a functional polymeric material, has emerged as a promising technology for periodontal disease therapies. It has the versatility to mimic the extracellular matrix and provide suitable binding sites and growth environments for periodontal cells, with high biocompatibility, water retention, and slow release.
