The present study proposes a method of automatic detection of tuberculosis (TB) bacilli from digital images of Ziehl Neelsen sputum smear baciloscopy. The method is based on an algorithm that aims to automate the interpretation of optical microscopic images of sputum smears. According to the World Health Organization (WHO), a specialist can not analyze and process more than 20 samples per day (in order to not affect the analysis sensitivity and commit errors in diagnosis). In this paper, we have performed a closed-form calculation of the radiation pattern of a base station antenna by using Ad Hoc Bessel-Fourier expansion. Once the coordinates system is fixed, we proceed to derived the magnetic potential vector underlining the complex part which is subsequently expanded in a Bessel-Fourier series. The chincho (Tagetes elliptica Sm) is an aromatic grass of the mountain range of Peru, normally is used as culinary additive, apart from this curious property, in some cases it is used for therapeut i c aims, whi ch apparent l y demonstrates it possesses other properties. With the aim to extend the information on the functional properties of this vegetable, it was proposed to investigate the antioxidant components: vitamin C and flavonoids, therefore it was proposed the following aims: determine the content of vitamin C (for espectrofotometría), flavonoids 3-hidroxilo in aqueous extracts and etenólico (for espectrofotometría), and the content of catequinas in the leaves of chincho (for HPLC). Purple corn (Zea mays L.) is a superfood native to Peru, highly regarded for its functional properties and commonly used in the preparation of traditional beverages and desserts, such as chicha morada and mazamorra morada. Following processing, the corn cobs remaining as a byproduct retain significant amounts of bioactive compounds with potential for utilization. This study proposes their use as a primary component in the production of teas. To ensure product safety, the moisture content, total ash, and counts of enterobacteria and aflatoxins in the raw materials were first evaluated. Este documento analiza diferentes estadísticos basados en los residuos para la hipótesis nula de no cointegración utilizando MCG para eliminar los componentes determinísticos. Las distribuciones asintóticas son simuladas para los casos donde un intercepto y un intercepto y una tendencia son incluidos en la ecuación de cointegración. Los resultados muestran que las distribuciones asintóticas dependen del número de regresores (variables xt), el número y clase de componentes determinísticos y un parámtro de nuisamce R2 que mide la correlación de largo plazo entre los regresores xt y la variable yt. Los resultados muestran que MCG permiten obtener más potencia que el uso de MCO. Esto es más claro para valores de R2 menores que 0:4 y un solo regresor xt. Cuando agrupamos estos datos, formamos una estructura. Esta agrupación puede resultar en vectores (matrices unidimensionales), matrices (con más de una dimensión) o registros. Qualitative methodology was used from an interpretive paradigm, making use of inductive and deductive analysis at the same time. Inductively, observations were generated through documentary analysis, interviews with experts, and a focus group with university professors, who then deductively derived interpretations and forecasts regarding curricular planning. As a result, it was obtained that the designed model, based on the triangulation of the information collected, allowed evaluating and determining the strengths and weaknesses of the priority elements of the university curriculum: the graduation profile, the study plan and the evaluation system. This paper involves a practical approach to perform quality-control/quality-assessment of concrete using vibration-based NDT. The first component is the analysis of compressive strength and dynamic E-modulus of concrete samples from various construction projects. The second component involves continuous measurements of E-Moduli as a function of curing time in laboratory-controlled specimens. The experimental program allowed proposing a correlation to predict the expected static and dynamic E-modulus at 28 days from their measurement at any instant of the curing process. A similar relationship is proposed to predict compressive strength at 28 days based on the dynamic E-modulus measured at earlier ages.

The physicochemical and biological indices have been used in isolation; if the parameters of these indices were applied in an integrated manner, they would bring together in a single measure the functional and structural variability of the biotic and abiotic components of water quality. The aim of this study was to build a comprehensive water quality index. Eleven sampling points were selected considering different degrees of agro-industrial intervention. 21 abiotic variables and 27 biological metrics were measured. In modern industry, electric motors are essential components in a wide range of applications, from manufacturing production to transportation and power generation. These motors are critical in industrial machinery and equipment, and their proper functioning is crucial for maintaining operational efficiency and productivity. However, motors are susceptible to various types of faults that can be costly in terms of downtime, production loss, and repair expenses. Early detection of these faults is essential to prevent unscheduled shutdowns, reduce maintenance costs, and avoid workplace accidents. This paper proposes a low-cost, real-time fault detection system for motors placed on the Non-Drive End based on neural networks, aimed at improving operational efficiency and reducing maintenance costs in the industry.

The fruit of Antidesma bunius has both medicinal and edible properties. In previous studies, the fruit extract of A. bunius showed anti-proliferation activity on breast cancer cells, but its functional components and anti-tumor mechanism are still unclear. In this research, the main active components of A. bunius fruits (detected by UHPLC-MS/MS) and the corresponding targets were analyzed by network pharmacology method, and its interactions were verified by molecular docking to explore the possible tumor suppressor mechanisms. In this work, maximum flows observed in the Paranapanema river basin are modeled by a mixture of two GEV distributions whose components correspond to the summer and winter subpopulations. The nonlinear discriminant function allowed to confirm the assumption of mixture model.The proposed model is then used to determine probabilities of exceedance and return periods associated with extreme flows, which are of fundamental importance for hydraulic projects. The results show significant differences when a mixture model is used and therefore an approach more coherent with the observed data.
