The main objective of this research was to determine the influence of the educational resource “ecuacards” on the development of the competence that solves problems of regularity, equivalence and change in students. The type of research was applied at an experimental level and pre-experimental design. The study sample was non-probabilistic, consisting of 21 students from the 4th grade of primary education to whom a pre-test was administered and, after the experimental sessions, the post-test; The data showed to be non-parametric of an ordinal type, so the Wilcoxon statistical test was used. The results revealed a very significant difference between the post-test and the pre-test of 61.9% of students who were at the expected achievement level (A) and 33.3% at the outstanding achievement level (AD) with a p value = 0.00. and a significance level of 5%.
