Objective: To ascertain that social and emotional deprivation of the mother is associated with fetal growth restriction, fetal death, preterm birth and congenital defects. Materials and Methods: We retrieved the maternal and perinatal outcome from the Informatic Perinatal System of all pregnancies with antenatal care whose delivery occurred between January 1, 1992 and December 31, 2001. Three groups of patients with social and emotional deprivation were included: 1) single women (n=1285), 2) teenage women with absent prenatal care (APC), (n=2131), and 3) primigravid with stature lower than 160 cm (n=35722). Maternal and perinatal outcome were compared with: 1) women living with sexual partner (n=5550), 2) teenage women with prenatal care (n=7644), and 3) primigravids taller than 159 cm (n=5264). José Watanabe and Carlos López Degregori are two great Peruvian poets of the seventies of the last century. The article places the two authors in the field of Peruvian literary tradition. In Watanabe poetry, ontological metaphors predominate; on the contrary, in López's, the orientational metaphors prevail. The analysis is based on the ideas of George Lakoff and Mark Johnson to examine these metaphorical procedures and suggest that there is the functioning of the critical consciousness of the modern poet in Watanabe's work. In addition, the author studies the spatialization of the subject in López's poetry.

This work uses bioinformatics tools and free online access to genomic information in order to identify and characterize proteins related to oxidative stress defense of Mycobacterium tuberculosis, in order to disco ver new appropriate pharmacological targets against this pathogen. Sequences of amino acids of proteins expressed with that function, products of the expression of the genes katG, sodA, sodC, ahpC, ahpD and mgtC were compared with the genome of Mycobacterium tuberculosis H37Rv through the NCBI server National for Center Biotechnology Information), determining their possible redundancy in the genome. Los aceites polinsaturados como el aceite de sacha inchi (Plukenetia volubilis L.) extra virgen, con alto contenido de ácidos grasos, omega 3 y 6, son altamente susceptibles a la oxidación y la consecuente pérdida de propiedades nutritivas y organolépticas. In this thesis, we introduce a new variation of the VRP appearing in wireless networks. The new characteristic added to this well-know problem is the possibility of pick-up information via wireless transmissions. In the con-text considered here, a unique base station is connected with the outside and a vehicle is responsible for collecting information via wireless connection to the vehicle when it is located in another sufficiently close station.
