This systematic review aims to conduct a comprehensive analysis of research that proposes executive functions (EFs) as a pathway to understanding the individual factors that support aggressive behavior (AB) and, consequently, contribute to the maintenance of bullying dynamics within school contexts. The search for articles was conducted in databases such as Web of Science, Scopus, and PubMed. Specifically, studies were selected that analyzed the contribution of EFs to AB or the role of perpetrator in bullying situations, conducted in the last 10 years with samples ranging from 4 to 12 years of age. The final result of the search yielded 11 articles, through which it was identified that while EFs contribute to the development of aggressive behavior, their impact may vary depending on the subtype of aggression evaluated. The purpose of this research was to determine the loss of function of the stomatognathic system in relation to the chewing capacity and aesthetic factor in students from 7 to 10 years old at the Independencia School - Puno 2022. Method, it is basic in scope, explanatory, quantitative, non-specific design. experimental, transversal. 186 children aged 7 to 10 years participated, whose oral cavity was examined in order to determine the number of lost teeth. Descriptive statistics and inference were used to corroborate the hypothesis. Objective: To describe the treatment of acute ischemic strokes with intravenous rtPA and determine the factors associated with the functional outcomes of patients treated with thrombolysis in a Peruvian hospital. Material and Methods: A prospective, longitudinal cohort study of patients with ischemic stroke who received rtPA over a period of 3 years was performed. The association of demographic and clinical data with functional status was assessed 3 months after the intervention. Simple and multivariate Poisson regression models were performed to evaluate associations with functional prognosis, and Relative Risk (RR) with a 95% confidence interval (CI) was used as a measure of association. Atherosclerosis starts early in life. The presence of risk factors like hypertension, smoking, dyslipidemia and diabetes as well as obesity and metabolic syndrome accelerates its progress. These factors generate endothelial dysfunction, oxidative stress and inflammation, with early appearance of foamy cells, fatty streaks and atheromatous plaques. These plaques are vulnerable to erosion and rupture, the so called atherothrombotic phenomenon, leading to acute vascular events like acute coronary or cerebrovascular syndromes. Managing and treating the metabolic syndrome, early markers of cardiovascular risk, could slow down end organ aging and damage, probably without reduction of mortality but focusing on three fundamental aspects of early detection of subclinical atherothrombosis: prevention of cardiovascular events, protection of end organs, and improvement of quality of life.

This paper examines the potential of artificial intelligence (AI) technologies to function as a criminogenic factor, namely as causes of criminal phenomena. The analysis distinguishes two perspectives from which this role may materialize. From a microcriminogenic perspective, it is argued that AI possesses the technical capacity to become directly or indirectly involved in criminal offenses or in conduct that, due to its dangerousness or harmfulness, should be criminalized. From a macrocriminogenic or structural standpoint, it is posited that AI-driven capitalism may increase social conflict or lead to an intensified reliance on the criminal justice system to protect the economic order built around AI.

The present study is a transversal analysis, the objective was to determine the relationship between family functioning and alcohol consumption in a sample of 200 participants that included students of Dentistry, Nursing and Psychology. A probabilistic sampling with simple randomization was applied. The instruments used were the family evaluation test (APGAR), and the questionnaire to identify disorders due to alcohol consumption (AUDIT). The results show a significant negative relationship (p 0.211) between family functioning and alcohol consumption. Belonging to a dysfunctional family, it is a risk factor 1.21 times more likely to consume alcohol. Being part of a functional family is a protective factor for not consuming alcohol (95% CI 0.90-1.59). Determinar si la Apendicectomía es un factor protector para la enfermedad de Parkinson. Materiales y Métodos: Se realizó un estudio Analítico observacional de casos y controles. Ingresaron al estudio 1380 pacientes de las cuales 276 fueron casos con diagnóstico de Enfermedad de Parkinson y 1104 fueron controles sin diagnóstico de Enfermedad de Parkinson, donde a ambos grupos se le evaluó su antecedente de Apendicectomía. Resultados Los pacientes tuvieron una mediana con rango intercuantil [25-75] de edad en los casos y controles de 77 [68-81] y 66 [51-76], respectivamente; p<0.001. Bullying is a contemporary social phenomenon that impacts multiple social structures and contexts. This study aimed to establish the association between executive functions (EF) and social cognition in adolescents. A cross-sectional descriptive study with a sample of 109 subjects was selected by convenience sampling. Multinomial logistic regression was performed, finding that social cognition is a protective factor (OR: 0.17 IC 95% 0.05-0.59) (OR: 0.27 IC 95% 0.08- 0.85) in the group of aggressors to controls; in addition, the group of victims to controls (OR: 0.15 IC 95% 0.05 – 0.42) (OR: 0.30 IC 95% (0.11- 0.82). Thus, adequate social cognition is associated as a protective factor against bullying, and presenting deficits in EF is associated with a threefold increased risk of bullying.

Objetivo: Este estudio tiene como objetivo determinar si la hiponatremia es un factor asociado a la mortalidad intrahospitalaria en pacientes con insuficiencia cardíaca. Pacientes y métodos: se desarrolló una investigación observacional, retrospectivo y longitudinal de tipo casos y controles, conformado por un grupo muestral de 210 pacientes (105 casos y 105 controles) con diagnóstico confirmado de insuficiencia cardiaca y que han sido atendidos en el Hospital Regional Docente de Trujillo durante el período de estudio del 2019-2023. Resultados: El 53,1 % de los pacientes con hiponatremia era del grupo masculino, el 54 % presentó hipertensión arterial, el 53,1 % presentó diabetes mellitus, el 35,4 % presentó una clase funcional NYHA de clase II. Se realizó un experimento para evaluar los efectos del descanso al pastoreo sobre la estructura de la vegetación, la función hidrológica y el estatus ecológico en pastizales de condición regular para vacunos. El área de estudio está ubicada a 4 095 msnm, en la comunidad campesina Cordillera Blanca, Región Ancash, Perú. El diseño experimental fue factorial 2 x 2 en bloques, donde los factores fueron: a) dos sistemas de pastoreo P1: Pastoreo no controlado en tierras de usufructo comunal y P2: Descanso o exclusión total de pastoreo, y b) tres años de monitoreo comprendidos entre el 2011 al 2013. La presente investigación tuvo como objetivo principal determinar la relación entre el funcionamiento familiar y los factores personales de la resiliencia en niños de 8 a 11 años de la l. E. María Reiche, Puerto Nuevo-Callao, 2014. La metodología utilizada fue cuantitativa, descriptiva correlacional de corte transversal; la muestra estuvo constituida por 54 niños entre los 8 a 11 años de edad con padres y/o tutores a cargo. This paper explores the generation process of human capital in a dynamic perspective. In order to do so: a) characterizes the recent evolution of human capital, using as proxy the same results panel of participating countries in PISA; b) explores different specifications of the production function of human capital capable of generating dynamic patterns observed; and c) shows the ability of different specifications econometric literature usually employed to correctly detect the structure of the production function. Determinar al Síndrome de Burnout como factor asociado a dispepsia funcional en docentes universitarios. Material y métodos: El diseño de este estudio es observacional transversal; se evaluaron las encuestas realizadas a docentes universitarios en un total de 213; de todos ellos, 17 tenían diagnóstico de síndrome de burnout y los otros 196 no tenían síndrome de burnout. Se utilizó Odds Ratio y la prueba de chi cuadrado para determinar si existe relación con la dispepsia funcional. Resultados: De los 213 docentes universitarios, 17 presentan síndrome de burnout y 196 no lo padecen. Se observó que en el 53,1% (n=104) de los docentes universitarios que no presentan Síndrome de Burnout la dispepsia se encuentra ausente, y en el 100% (n=17) de docentes universitarios que presentan Síndrome de Burnout también presentan Dispepsia funcional. This work studies the dependence of Cs-137 root uptake on the structure of landscape, especially on the properties of soils, under controlled conditions. Researches were carried out at various levels of Cs-137 contamination (from 20 up 1000 kBq/m²), with five different types of soils, which differ in texture and granulometric composition. The results showed that transfer factor (TF) values of Cs-137 differ 5 times for the natural grassy coenoses. The correlation between Cs-137 TF values and granulometric composition of soil was determined for both automorphic and hydromorphic mineral soils.
