The present investigation has as its general objective to determine the relationship that exists between the development of the pedagogical campus and the installation of learning communities, according to the Model of Practical Formation of the Metropolitan University of Science in Santiago, 2019 for this purpose, a quantitative method was used, obtaining the information through the application of questionnaires to 20 key actors of the Pedagogical Campus installed by the Metropolitan University of Science of Education in the framework of the implementation of its Model of Practical Modeling. Within the results it can be established that there is a strained relationship between knowledge about the model of practical training of the Universidad dicha and the actions carried out by the actors on the pedagogical campuses. In addition, it is essential to consolidate the teaching campuses of ...

The relationship between socioeconomic mobility and school levels has been thematized since the generalization of modern institutionalized education systems. The demand for Chilean quality education is associated with exitism and the formation of Human Capital, crashing with mismatches between public policies, the crisis of legitimization of public education, and the Latin American epistemic advance that influences the pedagogical exercise through critical pedagogy or decolonization as a new way of organizing / re-creating knowledge. Thus, the teacher is required from two dichotomous currents, which makes him a vortex with unusual edges. This article of reflection seeks to expose some aspects of these contradictions, addressing the theory of Human Capital in education and the decolonization of pedagogy, in relation to the expected role of teachers in Chile.

In this study, a non-experimental, cross-sectional design with a descriptive-correlational scope was used to examine the relationship between cyber victimization and school engagement. There were 391 students who participated, 51.7% male and 48.3% female, aged 13 to 18 years (M=15.3, SD=0.895), from third (24.5%), fourth (38.8%), and fifth (36.5%) grades of secondary school from three private schools in Lima. For data collection, the School Cybervictimization Scale (ECE) and the School Involvement Scale (EIE-A) were applied. Among the results, high levels of cyberbullying victimization were found in 16% and very high levels in 21.7% of students, as well as low levels of school engagement in 20.5% and very low levels in 19.4% of students. Likewise, a statistically significant and inverse relationship was found, with a small effect size, between the variables (p <.01, rs = -.18, r2 = .0...

We succinctly summarize population ID information for common bottlenose dolphins Tursiops truncatus of the Pacific coast of South America, covering four coastal range states. Phylogenetic uncertainties relate primarily to offshore vs. coastal (inshore) ecotypes and biogeographic borders between the five proposed populations (2 offshore, 3 coastal): Colombia-Ecuador Offshore stock (probably = ETP Offshore), Peru-Chile Offshore, Ecuador Coastal, Peru Coastal and an unique community (Pod-R) on the north-central coast of Chile. Main questions concern the extent of gene flow between the offshore stocks at one hand, and with -and between- the three coastal populations at the other hand. Seven cranial characters, four non-metric (separation of occipital condyles, pterygoid bone development, exostosis of periotic) and three metric (tooth width, antorbital process length, maximum width palatines)...

Variation in dorsal fin morphology was assessed in five bottlenose dolphin (Tursiops truncatus) populations from the Southeast Pacific. We hypothesized that habitat specialization between coastal and offshore ecotypes led to differences in dorsal fin morphology. Photographs and direct measurements of dorsal fins were used to calculate three indexes: height/length base (h/b), width at half height/length base (a/b) and overhang of the dorsal fin tip/length base (falcateness) (s/b). The sample included 163 individuals (129 coastal and 34 offshore) from Ecuador, 60 individuals (9 coastal and 51 offshore) from Peru and 25 individuals of an inshore form from northcentral Chile (Pod-R). Values were logarithmically transformed to allow one-way ANOVAs and t-tests. Ontogenetic variation was found in coastal dolphins from Ecuador, with indices significantly different among age/classes. All indices ...
