Obesity and non-transmissible chronic diseases are becoming epidemic in Latin America, both in adults and children-adolescents. Objectives: To determine the relationship between consumption of ultra-processed food and anthropometric parameters in school age children of a school in El Agustino, Lima. Methods: A cross-sectional study was carried-out applying a questionnaire about consumption of ultra-processed food and measuring anthropometric parameters in school children between 9-17 years of age during November 2017. High consumption was considered (≥ 5 points) and low consumption (< 5 points). The article is based on field research conducted by the authorsamong Galibi-Marworno people from Uaçá region, at northern state of Amapa, Brazil. The objective is to present some aspects of their pedagogy, which is founded on the importance of freedom and autonomy for an accurate learning and the production of healthy bodies, focusing on nonverbal aspects of learning, the creativity of imitation and the children agency involved in those processes. The article presents the Galibi-Marworno’s ideas about childhood and child development and their strategies in the transmission of knowledge, contextualizing them in relation to the history and organization of the people. This description of the Galibi-Marworno’s learning processes aims to contribute to a more respectful schooling process, as required by Brazilian law.

El objetivo de este trabajo de investigaciòn es dar a conocer que tras el análisis de la bibliografía revisada, es evidente que la empleabilidad de la educación a distancia no es reciente en nuestro país y mucho menos en el mundo. Introducción: Actualmente, la infección por VIH sigue siendo uno de los más grandes problemas en salud pública; a finales de 2016 había aproximadamente 36,7 millones de personas infectadas por el VIH en el mundo y de estos, 17,8 millones eran mujeres mayores de 15 años. Pese a su condición las mujeres VIH (+) mantienen sus deseos de ser madres; aproximadamente a nivel mundial, 1,4 millones de mujeres infectadas con VIH se embarazan, y de estas, entre el 15 al 45% tienen la probabilidad de transmisión vertical si no se tratan. It is necessary to evaluate the virtual class environments that have been generated by the COVID-19 pandemic. In view of this, the objective was to design and validate a scale for the use of virtual academic media. The study is of an instrumental type, where the sample was conformed by 582 Peruvian university students. The scale was conformed by 10 items distributed in 2 dimensions.
