Objective. To determine the association between the application of the Rehabilitation Program (RP) and the Functional Performance (DF) of patients with Parkinson's disease at the "Cirujano Mayor Santiago Távara" Naval Medical Center. Methods. Analytical, longitudinal, retrospective cohort study, in 18 months. By means of a sample of 46 patients, in two cohorts, functional performance was determined by dimensions of basic activities (Barthel indexes), strength and endurance (SPPB) and walking speed. Five values or categories were used to determine dependency, frailty and incoordination. Normality was determined using the Kolmogorov-Smirnov test and for statistical analysis the Mann- Whitney U was used, where a value of p <0.05 was considered significant. Results. It is tried to determine if significant differences exist in the lexical wealth in function of the school grade and of the type of educational, state center or matter. With a sample of 2956 students to those that it was evaluated with the Test of Wealth and of Lexical Precision built by André King (1962). The data were analyzed by means of the factorial analysis of variance for the individual effect and cocktail and the Analysis of Variance of a Factor for design multigroup. Objective: To determine the association between depression and functional dependence in elderly patients of the Centro Geriátrico Naval (Peruvian naval medical center for elderly people). Materials and methods: A retrospective, cross-sectional, analytic study conducted from a secondary data analysis, with a convenience sample size of 625 elderly people. Results: In the linear regression analysis which predicts functional dependence according to the Barthel Index, it was found that, for each point in the Yesavage questionnaire, the Barthel Index score decreases 4.8±1.82 points and, for every 5 points, it decreases 29.99±3.62 points. El presente trabajo de investigación se realizó con el objeto de valorar la capacidad funcional de las personas de la tercera edad del Centro Integral de Atención al Adulto Mayor de la Municipalidad Provincial de Maynas. El trabajo es una investigación cuantitativa con diseño no experimental, transversal de tipo descriptivo correlacional. The type of research was basic and the design was descriptive and correlational, the sampling was not probabilistic for convenience, selecting a sample of 112 women abused by their partner or couple who attended the Emergency Center Woman, the police stations of the district of Surco and the Legal Office of the Ricardo Palma University. El tema seleccionado surge a partir de los resultados arrojados por la última prueba PISA de la Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD, 2023), donde se observa el bajo rendimiento educativo en el Perú. Según Helga Solís, vocera de Seguro Social de Salud (EsSalud, 2024), el 64% de los alumnos de primaria y secundaria presentan dificultades de aprendizaje, lo que genera reprobaciones, repitencias y abandono escolar. Esta situación no solo responde a deficiencias pedagógicas e intelectuales, sino también a la falta de motivación estudiantil. Objetivo: El presente trabajo de investigación tuvo como objetivo determinar la relación del riesgo de caídas con la capacidad funcional en adultos mayores atendidos en un centro de fisioterapia del distrito de Huaura; 2020. Método: se desarrolló un estudio de enfoque cuantitativo, tipo básica, de nivel correlacional, diseño no experimental y método hipotético deductivo. Aunque las investigaciones acerca de los centros ceremoniales del Periodo Formativo son numerosas, al mismo tiempo, curiosamente, poco se ha entendido acerca de sus parámetros funcionales. En el fondo, se necesitan responder preguntas elementales acerca de porqué se construyeron estos centros, para quién funcionaron y a qué propósitos sirvieron. Si bien la evidencia es clara acerca de su carácter ritual, la aplicación de modelos devocionales derivados de prácticas religiosas modernas no es congruente con las observaciones realizadas acerca del singular sitio de Chavín de Huántar. En cambio, la configuración de este prominente centro parece confirmar que refleja, principalmente, estrategias de liderazgo y la presencia de elites secundarias.

OBJETIVO: Determinar la relación entre la velocidad de marcha y la capacidad funcional en adultos mayores de un centro poblado en Lima, 2024. METODOLOGÍA: Se utilizó un diseño observacional, correlacional y transversal, con un enfoque cuantitativo y basado en el método hipotético-deductivo. La muestra estuvo conformada por 80 adultos mayores de un centro poblado, seleccionados mediante un muestreo censal. Se aplicaron el Índice de Barthel y la Escala de Lawton y Brody para evaluar la capacidad funcional, y el Test de Velocidad de Marcha de 4 Metros para medir la velocidad de marcha.
