Canine ehrlichiosis is a worldwide well known infectious disease and potentially lethal to dogs and other members of the Canidae family. It is caused by Ehrlichia canis and transmitted by the brown dog tick Rhipicephalus sanguineus. The aim of this work was to carry out a retrospective case-control study in order to evaluate the risk factors associated with the presence of canine ehrlichiosis in dogs that have been patients at the Clinic of Small Animals and at the Clinical Pathology Laboratory of the Veterinary Faculty, San Marcos University, Lima. La ehrlichiosis canina es reconocida como una enfermedad infecciosa importante de distribución mundial y potencialmente mortal de los perros y otros miembros de la familia Canidae. Es ocasionada por Ehrlichia canis y transmitida por la garrapata marrón del perro Rhipicephalus sanguineus. The objective of this study is to evaluate the quality of service perceived by users in a private medical center in Valencia, Venezuela. The instrument for data collection was based on the perceptions of SERVQUAL. Were identified by Factor Analysis, once they demonstrated the relevance sample, three (03) dimensions: Safety, Reliability and tangibility, explaining 66.63% of the total variance, likewise, the instrument showed internal consistency (alpha cronbach> 0.955) as it reliable and results of statistical tests performed (Significant at 5%), demonstrate the validity. Based on the results, we conclude that the questionnaire has enough condition to be used as a measure of the quality perceived by patients private medical center, and as an input for the design of strategies.

This research explores the discursive construction of the quality of sacrifice of the soccer player Paolo Guerrero in printed Peruvian Sport Journalism during the Copa America Argentina 2011 and the World Cup Brazil 2014 Qualifiers. To do that, various strategies used in the newspaper articles are identified in order to represent the sacrifice as a supposed essence of our national identity. It argues that the exaltation of sacrificial worship through the figure of Guerrero constructs a “must-be” for the Peruvian nation, since this alleged sacrifice is always made for the nation and their entire community’s interests. Therefore, the education system had to adapt to the distance education modality, and the universities were not the exception. The objective of this research is to identify factors that determine the quality of academic services in universities , from three case studies in the context of Latin America ( Venezuela , Mexico and Chile). Model survey SERVQUALing was used , and upon proof of sampling adequacy, the multivariate statistical technique of Factor Analysis , where the dimensions underlying quality of services as perceived by students were identified was used highlighting Safety , Responsiveness and Empathy as a key and common elements. The survey used was reliable and valid , as evidenced by the statistical tests performed ( significant at 5%). The results confirm the dynamic and multidimensional nature of quality of academic services , allowing present some thoughts for discussion.

The implications of the Marxist theories of the State developed by Nicos Poulantzas, Louis Althusser and Ralph Miliband are useful in order to frame the basic elements related to the leftist strategy in Venezuela during the 21st Century. The National University of Central Peru was founded in 1959. Since then, its academic and editorial production has been maintained until today. Our goal is to chronologically analyze the production of books and journals in this university. It is an exploratory analysis that covers the period 1963-2019. The results show an evolutionary and progressive bibliographic and hemerographic increase. The editorial administration of the teaching and research center, in the current secrecy, gives clear evidence to assume criteria such as open access and internationalization. However, it is concluded that the virtualization of production is urgently needed, which is part of institutional and regional memory.

The behaviors and attitudes that favor performance in an organization are the cause of its success, such is the case of the Autonomous University of Tamaulipas (UAT). A qualitative study was used in which the perceptions of the collaborators regarding the behaviors that can be presented in the organizational culture were analyzed, through a dichotomous response survey with an adaptation of the factors proposed in the Organizational Normative Behavior Questionnaire. As a result, it was obtained that the behaviors in the organizational culture at the Autonomous University of Tamaulipas (UAT) favor the performance of its collaborators and are present in more than 70% of the population. It is concluded that the factors quality, collaboration, consideration, orientation to authority and competition are above the threshold of 70% established.

The purpose of this research was to determine the level and main characteristics of managerial job satisfaction in Peru's public universities, and the progress of budget execution in these institutions, as well as the correlation between job satisfaction and the progress of budget execution. To measure job satisfaction, a survey was applied to a sample of managers in specialized areas of the central administration of the institution (elected officials were excluded), using a questionnaire generated in a pilot experience and with the corresponding statistical verification of its reliability. In the current Peruvian context, the provincial mayors face serious problems to remain inoffice or to pursue a future political race. In this scenario, the social conflicts arise as an alternative for obtaining such legitimacy; however, depending on the type of participation adopted, the mayor could or could not be benefited from such an opportunity.
