The COVID-19 pandemic accelerated the adoption of virtual and hybrid teaching methods, leading to substantial changes in educational approaches. This study focused on evaluating the effect of mediating technologies on post-pandemic educational processes, emphasizing their essential role in enhancing interaction and cooperation between teachers and students. Although their relevance is evident, challenges persist in terms of access, quality, and evaluation of technological educational initiatives. To address these challenges, a comprehensive literature review was conducted, examining 26 international academic studies published in the last five years. The findings indicate that mediating technologies positively influence motivation, student retention, and self-directed learning, especially in higher education and language teaching. However, the effects vary depending on the context. It is ...

The relationship between executive functions (EF), creative personality, and academic performance in Argentine university students was examined. A total of 248 students (M = 22.97 years, SD = 4.43) from various Argentine provinces participated. The Adult Executive Functioning Inventory (ADEXI), the Cognitive Flexibility Scale, the Creative Behavior Scale (ECC), and the Creative Personality Scale (EPC) were used, along with academic performance data and sociodemographic information. Data were collected online through Google Forms and analyzed using Spearman correlations and mediation analysis with robust Maximum Likelihood estimator and Bootstrap. Cognitive flexibility exhibited the most robust correlation with grade point average (r = .281, p < .001), followed by working memory difficulties (r = -.234, p < .001). Creative personality correlated positively with grade point average (...

Spinel ferrites are versatile, low-cost, and abundant metal oxides with remarkable electronic and magnetic properties, which find several applications. Among them, they have been considered part of the next generation of electrochemical energy storage materials due to their variable oxidation states, low environmental toxicity, and possible synthesis through simple green chemical processing. However, most traditional procedures lead to the formation of poorly controlled materials (in terms of size, shape, composition, and/or crystalline structure). Thus, we report herein a cellulose nanofibers-mediated green procedure to prepare controlled highly porous nanocorals comprised of spinel Zn-ferrites. Then, they presented remarkable applications as electrodes in supercapacitors, which were thoroughly and critically discussed. The spinel Zn-ferrites nanocorals supercapacitor showed a much high...

The legal profession is in the process of adapting to a globalized world that is increasingly international. This globalization of law goes hand in hand with the internationalization of the economy and politics. The answer is the internationalization of law. Today we can see how legal matters, clients, conflict, court, knowledge, institutional life and therefore internationalize the occupation. All this leads us to the lawyer should know integration processes occurring mainly for economic reasons such as the European Union and the Andean Community of Nations, but these processes have also led to the internal rules are changed based on the decisions of international tribunals, in this context, counsel should handle international law and how we engage national law these decisions at the supranational level. To achieve this goal the professional law must handle not only theoretical knowledg...

Dramaturgs are often regarded as the first spectators of an artistic production; they are collaborators who watch over the creative process, providing a critical opinion to the rest of the creative team, and in turn, their work. In this light, the tasks they carry out during the creation process of an art piece contribute to observation, documentation, mediation, and research processes, in order to nurture creation. Given the insufficient availability regarding both theoretical and practical references within Latin American territory, this text is an educational contribution, since its aim is to provide methodological tools for young dramaturgs. This paper is based on the following questions: Which collaborators provide research material for a creative process? How is observation possible during the process? Who keeps a record of what is happening? To what purpose? If all creators conduc...

The knowledge processes have been experiencing radical transformations due to the latest information and communication technologies incorporation. In this stage, it is important to pay special attention to the way contents and resources productions evolves and its integration in the learning-education process. At the moment, production dynamics of the educative resources are registered by the concept of learning objects, the logical of reusability and the use of standards on the digital contents processes. These concepts suggest a new philosophy, a new way to produce contents, but above all, a new way to distribute and share them. Along to this tendency, it is necessary to look in depth aspects of pedagogical design and cognitive considerations about contents and ways in which digital resources are used as a strategy that will lead to an effective use of these elements in the learning ed...

Purpose – Much research has been conducted on how consumption is related to human relationships. Only a scarcity of studies has examined brand and product selection, as well as the consumption activities that individuals follow when pursuing a sense of group belonging. The literature comprises a single theoretical framework describing this phenomenon, a nascent proposition on which further research remains undeveloped. This study aims to examine the transferability of that theoretical framework in a different context to that used for its elaboration and its descriptive scope on purchasing goods and engaging inn consumption activities to leverage belonging. Design/methodology/approach – A deductive qualitative case study and pattern matching analysis technique were used, followed by structural coding analysis of interview data. Findings – Findings reveal that the model is transferab...

Introduction: Metabolic syndrome (MetS) is a group of cardiovascular risk factors characterized by the presence of low-grade chronic inflammation. Among all the inflammatory biomarkers associated with MetS, the best characterized and well standardized is C-Reactive protein (CRP). Objectives: To evaluate the association between C-Reactive protein and metabolic syndrome in the Peruvian population of the PERU MIGRANT study. Methods: Secondary database analysis of the PERU MIGRANT study. MetS was considered according to the Harmonizing the Metabolic Syndrome criteria. For CRP, a cutoff point of ≥ 3 mg/L was established. Results: We worked with a total of 958 subjects. The prevalence of MetS was 24.53%. In the simple regression analysis, it was found that people with high CRP levels had a 75% higher frequency of having MetS, compared to those who did not p...

This research emerges impregnated with a deep halo of complexity, which seeks to rethink the work of educational organizations in times of crisis under a hegemonic vision of education and of life itself. It starts from a conception of education as a training activity, permanent, with meaning, transcendental to the current situation of being, according to Balza (2008), an education "that permeates and models the multidimensionality of the human being", therefore that this is conceived in an integral way, as a whole that is nourished by the concurrence and contributions of the sociocultural and socio-pluricultural disciplines, therefore, transdisciplinarity, according to Nicolescu (1996), is to understand the unreality of reality from the unity of knowledge. However, the inter-problematic most felt in this context is directly associated with the teacher as a manager of processes, to mediat...

In order to evaluate the forms of interaction in the main Instagramers from Peru and Colombia, an exploratory analysis of their profiles was carried out on the Instagram audiovisual platform during 2019. For this reason, firstly, the Heepsy tool was used to establish the influencers with greater impact within the platform in both countries and then, through the monitoring tools Fan Page Karma and Social Blade, to determine a set of variables and parameters regarding their interaction. The results show that the audience index is higher for Instagramers from Colombia than for the ones from Peru. In addition, there is a clear trend among digital audiences to value content through likes as a sign of interaction with it, but on the other hand, there is a representative decrease in expressing their impressions with words and comments regarding what they observe; this is also established by the...
