This master thesis is devoted to the state estimation of a particular form of PDE systems, coupled parabolic PDEs with spatial dependent coefficients. This form of PDEs represent some dynamic systems such as Tubular Reactors, Diffusion in lithium-ion cells and Diffusive Gradient in Thin Films sensor. Other methods for this problem use "Backstepping" observers, in which the estimation error system is transformed into another system that is stable, reducing the problem to calculate the Kernel functions making the transformation possible. In some cases this calculation is not simple, also the simulation in real time of the observer system, that is also a PDE, can be difficult. The Peer Review assessment by the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development, in collaboration with the Inter-American Development Bank, was a valuable effort to submit the Ecuadorian competition regime to a multilateral peer review. The evaluation revealed opportunities for improvement which constitute relevant challenges to develop the Ecuadorian competition law and policy.We will analyze some of the main findings. We will begin with an explanation of the constitutional basis of the Ecuadorian competition regime. Then, we will review the Report regarding the institutional bodies. We will present a state-of-the-art of enforcement function and judicial review. Subsequently, we will analyze the main comments regarding merger control. Finally, we state conclusions.

La Espermidina es un poliamina que podemos encontrar en frutas, verduras, productos cárnicos y lácteos; además de ser conocida por su papel modulador de funciones del ADN, ARN, nucleótidos trifosfatos y proteínas. Según, estudios experimentales recientes demostraron que cumple una función inhibitoria sobre la proteína relacionada con la patogénesis de la distrofia miotónica tipo 1 (MBNL‐1) dando luces a esta enfermedad aun sin cura; sin embargo, estos estudios no han proporcionado suficientes datos para aclarar su capacidad inhibitoria. This article considers that the social function of journalism is based on the belief in the journalistic objectivity, true illusio which involves a set of explicit and implicit rules that structure and define this social game. For this reason, we propose to investigate the processes of socialization and subjectivation that imply the incorporation of the belief in the journalistic objectivity and a series of mechanisms intended for production. In this sense, and since we postulate the need to reinstate the agent of the practices, in theoreticalmethodological link the perspective of relational sociology with the journalistic experiences reconstructed on the basis of the experiences of the journalists interviewed in our research.

RESUMEN El Art. 194 del Código Penal describe a la receptación como un delito que pretende proteger al patrimonio, indicando taxativamente las acciones materiales por las cuales se configurará que, en palabras sencillas, se trata de la adquisición de bienes provenientes de un delito anterior con el conocimiento o presunción de dicha procedencia delictiva. The presented work demonstrates the process of designing a cheap, low cost three axis force sensor. Further it describes its integration in an array of multiple sensors to measure the distribution of forces acting on the sole of a prosthetic foot. The focus will be on easy manufacturing and common materials since the sensor will be integrated in a low cost prosthesis for lower limp amputees. Using the knowledge from bio mechanics and some basic assumptions for the later use, requirements for the project are derived. After a presentation of some state of the art sensor principles, suitable concepts are collected. This challenge requires management reliable relationship between actors with diverse and sometimes conflicting interests.
