We present a scheme of eHealth based on teleconsults aimed to reduce unexpected events and complications in type-2 diabetes mellitus (DM-II). To this end, this study has considered the history of glucose tests taken as input inside a predictive mathematical scheme based on probabilities. The resulting output goes to a real-time monitoring system in order to detect and update those cases where patients would require of rapid assistance. The simulations have shown that the opportune intervention of teleconsults might be effective in the sense of monitoring diet and drug-based treatment by employing simple mobile phones and minimal software applications. El presente trabajo de investigación se realizó con el objetivo de definir la influencia de una aplicación web en el proceso de medición de resultados del estudiante del programa de Ingeniería de Sistemas Computacionales de una Universidad Privada en el año 2019. El tipo de estudio fue preexperimental; con una muestra constituida por los procesos de medición de resultados del estudiante ejecutados en los semestres 2018-2 y 2019-1. The study proposes an instrument to evaluate teaching performance in virtual environments (E-Teach Performance), identifying 17 items, which makes it an easy-to-apply instrument for evaluating teacher performance that provides online teaching. The pilot test consisted of 222 participants who belong to a sector of working adult students who stated that they were enrolled during the first semester of 2021. The items were formulated after having carried out an exhaustive review of the literature to later be evaluated by experts who guaranteed the content of the construct. Antecedentes: El suicidio en adolescentes es un problema de salud pública que está en crecimiento en la actualidad y requiere atención oportuna por las autoridades sanitarias, profesionales de la salud y comunidad en su conjunto. Objetivo: Determinar si el uso de programas de prevención del suicidio en adolescentes de escuelas secundarias, disminuyen el comportamiento suicida. Objectives. To describe the availability and demand of professional training programs for eight health science professions in Peru. Study the profiles of the physicians, nurses and midwives that these programs train and their competencies to work at the primary health care level. Materials and methods. Cross-sectional study using data on the volume of applicants, students and graduates of these eight professional training programs during the period 2007 - 2011. In addition, the curricula of professional training programs for physicians, nurses and midwives from public and private universities were analyzed, along with competency profiles developed by Professional Colleges and the Ministry of Health. Poverty remains one of this millennium’s main problems, which why the first objective of sustainable development is poverty reduction. Multiple actors are working on this issue: states, multilateral organisms, civil societies, and—perhaps less boldly—the private sector, through social responsibility programs. In this research, the aim was to understand how rural families perceive the contribution of CSR programs, in respect to the decrease in rural poverty. A total of 20 rural families, who were beneficiaries from CSR programs belonging to two extractive companies, were interviewed; furthermore, they were no longer poor and were currently dwelling within the highlands and jungles of Perú. In view of the evident potential shown by new technologies for education more and more companies are developing and implementing training programs using the facilities provided by these technologies. In turn new providers have emerged that develop training programs based on these new technologies seeking greater efficiency and lower costs compared to traditional training. The objective of this work is to identify the relevant factors for the success of the training programs with technological support starting from the case of a Spanish company analysed in depth. These factors have been articulated in a conceptual model that respects some theoretical proposals made previously and with which fits reasonably well.

This paper aims to explain and present a proposal to introduce Disaster Risk Management (DRM) topics into ESAN Graduate School of Business Master’s programs. Although disasters have cost Peru more than USD 7,600 million in the past 2 decades the business sector, particularly Small and Medium Enterprises, have not developed preventive or continuity plans mainly because they are not familiar with DRM topics. Taking this into consideration, the paper presents a detailed academic/curricular proposal for DRM topics such as business continuity, business ethics, corporate social responsibility, and sustainable management. Additionally, it introduces the idea of promoting Disaster Risk Management (DRM) topics to the Peruvian business community as a strategy to enhance the graduate education.
