The task of the university professor is a mission and not simply a profession and that is why higher education should be impregnated with values. Nowadays education is articulated into three areas: the State, the Market and the Volunteering, but no one of these three sectors by themselves has covered the needs of all the citizens, there have always been losers, therefore the conjunction of the three sectors became necessary. Communitarianism promotes an ethical-social pact that favors the progress of society without nullifying the individual dimension. It believes that the university is the space where a communitarian consciousness should be promoted to generate a social capital by means of education and it is a privilege place to substantiate the moral identity of the person beginning with the commitment of the professor with the university student.

El profesor se posiciona como una figura clave en la relación familia-escuela en los primeros niveles de educación. Desde esta perspectiva, el artículo presenta los resultados de una investigación fenomenológica realizada en cuatro escuelas primarias de México. Buscó comprender la perspectiva del profesor sobre la participación de los padres en la educación y su propia participación en la relación familia-escuela. Participaron 17 profesores, su selección y el tamaño de la muestra fueron determinados por muestreo selectivo y saturación teórica. Se usó la técnica de la entrevista individual. Desde hace más de tres décadas se utiliza la evaluación de la labor docente basada en la percepción de los alumnos. Considerado como uno de los modelos con mayor historia y utilización en las instituciones. Este artículo trata de identificar el concepto de buen profesor universitario de acuerdo con las características psicológicas valoradas por los alumnos. Para ello se llevó a cabo un estudio longitudinal cuantitativo que investigó una muestra de más de 6000 estudiantes, de manera repetida, a lo largo de un período de 10 años. This study aims to know how the training processes of practicing teachers contribute to the construction of beliefs about teaching at the university. Froma qualitative methodology with agrounded theory approach, professors from public and private universities were selected through theoretical sampling. In-depth interviews were conducted to collect data whichwere analytically coded. The purpose of this study was to understand how reflection on practice contributes to the teacher training of Chilean university professors. The research was a qualitative type based on the narrative method, and the technique applied was the semi-structured interview. 30 professors from two universities in Chile were interviewed. The main results lead to clarify that the reflection on the teaching practice represents a favorable route for the teacher's training. El objetivo del presente estudio es realizar una revisión sistemática de las tendencias del diseño metodológico usadas en los artículos de investigación cuya temática principal es la satisfacción laboral del profesorado universitario. Se identifican las tendencias sobre el método de investigación; la condición del instrumento de medición; las técnicas para la recolección de información, las de muestreo y las estadísticas usadas en el análisis. Luego de una búsqueda sistemática en Proquest y Redalyc (bases de datos bibliográficas), según criterios de inclusión y exclusión, se analizaron 49 artículos publicados entre el 2000 y el 2016. The purpose of this work was to determine the citizen behaviors carried out by professors from two universities in the State of Morelos, Mexico. El trabajo valora una innovación con TIC en la práctica pre profesional en formación docente. Se organizaron seis instancias cuasi experimentales en las que formadores de didáctica con estudiantes, realizaron análisis y reflexión sobre unidades fílmicas 360°. Se llevaron adelante tres observaciones no participantes sobre dichas instancias, encuestas (n= 39), siete entrevistas semiestructuradas y estudio documental de seis producciones de los participantes (docentes y estudiantes). Estos, valoraron los dispositivos (unidades fílmicas) por constituir un ambiente de aprendizaje de bajo riesgo, propiciar la colaboración entre los estudiantes y adaptarse a sus tiempos disponibles. Los dispositivos generados constituyen una herramienta de aprendizaje que adquiere valor más por la intervención didáctica que se realiza con ellos, que po r sus características técnicas.

According to the Comisión Económica para América Latina (CEPAL), 32 countries closed schools disturbing the life of more than 165 millions students and, of course professors also. To find out how educators felt during the pandemic period, several questionnaires can be used: Effort-Rewards Imbalance, Engagement, Burnout syndrome and Perceived Physical and Mental Health. However, before reaching this knowledge, it was necessary to determine the construct and differential validity of instruments in a sample of 353 Peruvian teachers. The results indicate that the mentioned tests have construct validity, as well as the differential one validity.

El reciente estudio se enfoca en determinar en qué medida influyen las competencias transversales en el desempeño laboral, con la finalidad de aportar a que el ODS 4 se cumpla, cual tiene como fin desarrollar competencias relevantes para el empleo y el trabajo decente. Se desarrolló a través de un enfoque cuantitativo de tipo básico bajo un diseño no experimental de corte transversal, se encuestaron a 63 educadores por medio de un muestreo aleatorio simple. Se emplearon dos cuestionarios, uno sobre competencias transversales y otro sobre desempeño laboral, con una totalidad de 35 interrogantes en escala tipo Likert con valores desde nunca hasta siempre, teniendo como resultado un efecto significativo (p<0.005). The teacher's work and practice in the classroom provide us with information about the mathematical workspaces that the mathematics teacher provides. In this research report we reflect on the ideal Mathematical Workspace (MWS) of a university professor. The ideal MWS is concerned with studying the mathematical activity that the teacher promotes in the classroom when working on a class session on the subject of the derivative. Based on the case study method as a valuable research tool, which records the teacher's behavior involved in the studied phenomenon.
