The teaching of human parasitology is essential for students of health sciences, especially medicine, because it is a major global public health problem―occurring with high frequency in low-income countries―and because of its presence in countries considered developed. In this sense, it is estimated that worldwide there are 2,800 million individuals infected with soil-transmitted helminths, 20 to 30% people infected with Toxoplasma gondii, 300 to 500 million new cases of malaria per year, and nearly 15 million Latin Americans with Chagas disease, an infection caused by Trypanosoma cruzi. Antimicrobial resistance (AMR) is an additional slow-evolving pandemic that precedes the COVID-19 pandemic and will continue when it ends. However, in countries such as Peru where there is high consumption and inadequate prescription of antibiotics, a more challenging future scenario can be expected. Antimicrobial Stewardship Programs (ASP) are multidisciplinary teams of professionals that aim to contain the emergence of multidrug-resistant organisms through strategies such as audit of antibiotic prescription or creating antibiotic treatment guidelines based on local AMR rates. The difficulty in the timely diagnosis of co-infections or superinfections in the clinical course of COVID-19 leads to inappropriate use of antibiotics, forcing ASP to adapt their strategies in this changing scenario. Satisfacción laboral en la tienda Kozue hogar de la ciudad de Iquitos año 2025. Este informe final de tesis analiza el nivel de satisfacción laboral de los trabajadores de la empresa Kozue Hogar en la ciudad de Iquitos durante el año 2025, con el objetivo general de proponer estrategias que permitan mejorar dicha satisfacción. La investigación se enmarca dentro de un enfoque cuantitativo, con un diseño no experimental y de tipo transversal, ya que los datos fueron recolectados en un solo momento sin manipular las variables del entorno. La población estuvo conformada por 20 trabajadores, incluyendo vendedores, cajeras, almaceneros, personal de vigilancia y practicantes. Los resultados obtenidos revelan un coeficiente Alfa de Cronbach de 0,792 para la variable satisfacción laboral, lo que indica una consistencia interna aceptable y una medición confiable de los ítems aplicados. ...

Currently, in various fields, the demonstration of soft skills by individuals is highly valued, which is why university training processes must aim to enhance these skills among students. In this regard, a cross-sectional analytical study was developed under a holistic approach, aiming to analyze the alignment between university teaching practices and the promotion of students' soft skills. A survey-type instrument was created to capture students' perceptions regarding this relationship. The validation process of the instrument, which was completed by 1,677 participants from various undergraduate programs at a university center in western Mexico, is presented. Current government policies bring about new perspectives for improvements in the nutritional aspect. However, since mid 2005, the Peruvian government has implemented a wheat flour fortification program with micronutrients. Act # 28314 approved a modification to the mandatory fortification of wheat flour with iron, increasing the amount of iron from 30 mg/kg of wheat flour to 55 mg of ferrous sulphate, in addition to 1-2 mg/kg folic acid, among other micronutrients. This article reviews aspects related to iron and folic acid, as well as information on iron and folic acid defficiencies, such as anemia and neural tube defects. Finally, recommendations are provided based on the information presented to promote the use of food fortified with wheat flour.

The promotion of the health is a process that give to the people the instruments to lead a better control for the health care. In this process participing the patients, the family, the community, the heath services and the autority`s health. There is a little information about the promotion of the dental health at the San Marcos University. The results show that thre is not an effective program of dental diseases prevention whitin the students and workers of the Faculty of Medicine at San Marcos University.

La promoción de la salud es el proceso que proporciona la proporción, los elementos para ejercer un mayor control sobre su propia salud y mejorarla. En este proceso intervienen los individuos, familias, comunidades, servicio de salud y autoridades sanitarias. Existe escasa información sobre la promoción de la salud bucal en la U.N.M.S.M. Los resultados señalan la falta de cultura sobre la salud bucal y sus medios de prevención en los estudiantes y trabajadores no docentes de la Facultad de Medicina de la U.N.M.S.M.
