The teaching of human parasitology is essential for students of health sciences, especially medicine, because it is a major global public health problem―occurring with high frequency in low-income countries―and because of its presence in countries considered developed. In this sense, it is estimated that worldwide there are 2,800 million individuals infected with soil-transmitted helminths, 20 to 30% people infected with Toxoplasma gondii, 300 to 500 million new cases of malaria per year, and nearly 15 million Latin Americans with Chagas disease, an infection caused by Trypanosoma cruzi. The essential purpose of this research was to verify if an Environmental Education Program developed and applied by the above-mentioned authors positively influences the development and consolidation of the care and conservation of Amazonian forests in students of the CC specialty. Antimicrobial resistance (AMR) is an additional slow-evolving pandemic that precedes the COVID-19 pandemic and will continue when it ends. However, in countries such as Peru where there is high consumption and inadequate prescription of antibiotics, a more challenging future scenario can be expected. Antimicrobial Stewardship Programs (ASP) are multidisciplinary teams of professionals that aim to contain the emergence of multidrug-resistant organisms through strategies such as audit of antibiotic prescription or creating antibiotic treatment guidelines based on local AMR rates. The difficulty in the timely diagnosis of co-infections or superinfections in the clinical course of COVID-19 leads to inappropriate use of antibiotics, forcing ASP to adapt their strategies in this changing scenario. Current government policies bring about new perspectives for improvements in the nutritional aspect. However, since mid 2005, the Peruvian government has implemented a wheat flour fortification program with micronutrients. Act # 28314 approved a modification to the mandatory fortification of wheat flour with iron, increasing the amount of iron from 30 mg/kg of wheat flour to 55 mg of ferrous sulphate, in addition to 1-2 mg/kg folic acid, among other micronutrients. This article reviews aspects related to iron and folic acid, as well as information on iron and folic acid defficiencies, such as anemia and neural tube defects. Finally, recommendations are provided based on the information presented to promote the use of food fortified with wheat flour.

Walp.) has traditionally been an important crop for smallholder farmers, and in many cases is the main source of low-cost dietary plant protein and minerals compared to animal products such as meat, fi sh, and egg. The macro-genre of TV infotainment comprises several genres and, regardless of the label under which each is defined, offers a wide range of variations and combinations that are constantly being reinvented. The infotainment report implies a mutation of the purely informative genre, as the representation of everyday lives has become a major television spectacle with its own characteristics. This research identifies 29 infotainment programmes broadcast on generalist television in Spain between 1990 and 2020 and analizes their evolution. The channels that have broadcast the highest number of infotainment reports are La Sexta (eleven programmes) and Cuatro (eight), followed by TVE ‘s La 1 (four), Antena 3 (three) and Telecinco (three). In Costa Rica, before 2016 the subject of statistics was not included in the national high school tests in Mathematics. As of 2016, the test, consisting of 60 items, includes 9 statistical items. On the other hand, teachers in their lessons usually use traditional expository methods, mediated by the use of a blackboard and printed materials.
