The purpose of this research was to determine how the Cuadernia educational software contributes to the teaching - learning process and the academic performance of Mathematics in fifth year students of the educational institution Nr. 5143 Talent School of the Constitutional Province of Callao. The research was of quantitative approach, of applied type and quasi-experimental design. We worked with two homogeneous groups, one experimental and the other control students of the fifth year of secondary education, female and male, between 15 and 17 years. The control group consisted of 25 students and the experimental group of 25 students. Most students have access to a computer and Internet service either at home or in a public booth near their home, they manage social networks, minimum handling of Word, Excel, Power Point, and information search engines. This research emerges impregnated with a deep halo of complexity, which seeks to rethink the work of educational organizations in times of crisis under a hegemonic vision of education and of life itself. It starts from a conception of education as a training activity, permanent, with meaning, transcendental to the current situation of being, according to Balza (2008), an education "that permeates and models the multidimensionality of the human being", therefore that this is conceived in an integral way, as a whole that is nourished by the concurrence and contributions of the sociocultural and socio-pluricultural disciplines, therefore, transdisciplinarity, according to Nicolescu (1996), is to understand the unreality of reality from the unity of knowledge. However, the inter-problematic most felt in this context is directly associated with the teacher as a manager of processes, to mediat...

The COVID-19 pandemic accelerated the adoption of virtual and hybrid teaching methods, leading to substantial changes in educational approaches. This study focused on evaluating the effect of mediating technologies on post-pandemic educational processes, emphasizing their essential role in enhancing interaction and cooperation between teachers and students. Although their relevance is evident, challenges persist in terms of access, quality, and evaluation of technological educational initiatives. To address these challenges, a comprehensive literature review was conducted, examining 26 international academic studies published in the last five years. The findings indicate that mediating technologies positively influence motivation, student retention, and self-directed learning, especially in higher education and language teaching. However, the effects vary depending on the context. It is ...

In the teaching of formative research a series of subjective constructions about their understanding and transcendence are raised. This situation encourages the determination of the meanings assigned to their pedagogical implementation in teacher training. In that intention, we have interviewed 20 teachers from an education faculty of a public university in Peru, in order to recognize the senses in their conception, their distinction in scientific research, their characteristics and expectations. The results show that teachers express a diversity of educational meanings, later in the training of researchers as a teaching device or strategy; Likewise, the terms of research research are distinguished in the strict sense, which induces overlaps or continuities between them; On the other hand, emphasize the development of cognitive skills linked to research, and finally, Situate in the traini...

The article exposes the results of a critical analysis of the implementation process of the program Escuela Nueva in Colombia. It proposes a review at the policy borrowing process from an international perspective, as well as a description of the dynamics of implementation within the Colombian context. For such aim, an exhaustive analysis was performed by implementing a qualitative documentary review, using a typological sample selection of sources. The conclusions suggest the need to consider attendance and transition indicators as key elements for decision making regarding the continuity, diversification and improvement of the program, as well as the urgency of unifying the national goals in pursuit of a coordinated implementation of rural programs.

The essential purpose of this research was to verify if an Environmental Education Program developed and applied by the above-mentioned authors positively influences the development and consolidation of the care and conservation of Amazonian forests in students of the CC specialty. H H. H.H. of the UNFV (CC. HH. SS. of the UNFV onwards). To this end, two Likert-type questionnaires were applied as entrance and exit tests for the program. The sample consisted of 44 students (30 students belonging to the Experimental Group and 14 students belonging to the Control Group), which was selected using “non-probabilistic sampling” of the opinion or criterial type. The approach was quantitative, the descriptive level comparative and the design adopted was the “quasi-experimental”. The “t” ratio of Student was used, and the SPSS Program was applied to process the information collected th...

The teaching of human parasitology is essential for students of health sciences, especially medicine, because it is a major global public health problem―occurring with high frequency in low-income countries―and because of its presence in countries considered developed. In this sense, it is estimated that worldwide there are 2,800 million individuals infected with soil-transmitted helminths, 20 to 30% people infected with Toxoplasma gondii, 300 to 500 million new cases of malaria per year, and nearly 15 million Latin Americans with Chagas disease, an infection caused by Trypanosoma cruzi. This narrative review article analyzes information available in digital repositories on aspects of the traditional educational program of human or medical parasitology using descriptors or keywords closely related to the topic. The reviewed articles were mainly those published in peer-reviewed, index...

Daily learning activities generate exchanges of ideas, doubts, and explanations between students and teachers. These dialogues and the possibility of asking a teacher questions disappear after classes. New automated communication tools developed with word processing programs, such as chatbots, have proven helpful in commerce and customer service. Some educational institutions are currently exploring the benefits of these programs in student care. This paper describes an exploratory study on the use of educational software and conversational agents in the teaching of programming; the objective is to identify the potential of this type of program to support teachers in the training of programmers and the accompaniment of students in their self-managed learning.

Objective: To evaluate the advantages of using movies as a tool in the teaching-learning process in medicine and health sciences PhD programs. Materials and methods: Twenty-one (21) PhD students participated in the study: nine (09) from the Universidad de San Martín de Porres (USMP) and twelve (12) from the Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos (UNMSM). Thirteen (13) were males and eight (08) were females. Males’ average age was 43.54 and females’ was 56.75. The advantages of using movies in the courses of medicine and health sciences PhD programs were evaluated with a four-part questionnaire, out of which three (03) parts collected quantitative data (in scale from 1 to 10) and one (01) obtained qualitative data. Results: The average score of the answers of the first part (watching movies before classwork) was 9.60, the average score of the second part (classwork) was 9.67 and th...

Introduction: Currently, it is possible to identify scientific evidence that an intentional, gradual and systematic development of emotional competencies in higher education complements the formative process and favors the personal well-being of students. Objective: to analyze the publications that consider the study of emotional competencies in higher education students between 2013 and 2022. Method: This study corresponds to a systematic review of the articles found in the Web of Science, Scopus and SciELO databases. Of the 90 articles initially found, the PRISMA methodology made it possible to reduce them to 26, which are reported in this paper. Results: the main findings indicate that relational studies are the most frequent (n=14). Likewise, the existence of educational programs aimed at promoting emotional competencies in higher education is reported (n=8), which indicates that edu...
