The teaching of human parasitology is essential for students of health sciences, especially medicine, because it is a major global public health problem―occurring with high frequency in low-income countries―and because of its presence in countries considered developed. In this sense, it is estimated that worldwide there are 2,800 million individuals infected with soil-transmitted helminths, 20 to 30% people infected with Toxoplasma gondii, 300 to 500 million new cases of malaria per year, and nearly 15 million Latin Americans with Chagas disease, an infection caused by Trypanosoma cruzi. This narrative review article analyzes information available in digital repositories on aspects of the traditional educational program of human or medical parasitology using descriptors or keywords closely related to the topic. The reviewed articles were mainly those published in peer-reviewed, index...

The essential purpose of this research was to verify if an Environmental Education Program developed and applied by the above-mentioned authors positively influences the development and consolidation of the care and conservation of Amazonian forests in students of the CC specialty. H H. H.H. of the UNFV (CC. HH. SS. of the UNFV onwards). To this end, two Likert-type questionnaires were applied as entrance and exit tests for the program. The sample consisted of 44 students (30 students belonging to the Experimental Group and 14 students belonging to the Control Group), which was selected using “non-probabilistic sampling” of the opinion or criterial type. The approach was quantitative, the descriptive level comparative and the design adopted was the “quasi-experimental”. The “t” ratio of Student was used, and the SPSS Program was applied to process the information collected th...

In the teaching of formative research a series of subjective constructions about their understanding and transcendence are raised. This situation encourages the determination of the meanings assigned to their pedagogical implementation in teacher training. In that intention, we have interviewed 20 teachers from an education faculty of a public university in Peru, in order to recognize the senses in their conception, their distinction in scientific research, their characteristics and expectations. The results show that teachers express a diversity of educational meanings, later in the training of researchers as a teaching device or strategy; Likewise, the terms of research research are distinguished in the strict sense, which induces overlaps or continuities between them; On the other hand, emphasize the development of cognitive skills linked to research, and finally, Situate in the traini...

Considering that when carrying out the corresponding analysis of the problem it was found that there is a low level of development of creativity which limits the development of the learning process of the educational institution. The study design was a pre experimental type. There was a sample population of 47 boys and girls, who after receiving the stimulus, showed a significant degree of achievement of the level of development of creativity, since a large part of the study group that was at the low level had emigrated to the medium and high levels, becoming a very homogeneous group. From the verification process, we proceeded to analyze, interpret and discuss the results, concluding that the use o...

This research emerges impregnated with a deep halo of complexity, which seeks to rethink the work of educational organizations in times of crisis under a hegemonic vision of education and of life itself. It starts from a conception of education as a training activity, permanent, with meaning, transcendental to the current situation of being, according to Balza (2008), an education "that permeates and models the multidimensionality of the human being", therefore that this is conceived in an integral way, as a whole that is nourished by the concurrence and contributions of the sociocultural and socio-pluricultural disciplines, therefore, transdisciplinarity, according to Nicolescu (1996), is to understand the unreality of reality from the unity of knowledge. However, the inter-problematic most felt in this context is directly associated with the teacher as a manager of processes, to mediat...

The COVID-19 pandemic accelerated the adoption of virtual and hybrid teaching methods, leading to substantial changes in educational approaches. This study focused on evaluating the effect of mediating technologies on post-pandemic educational processes, emphasizing their essential role in enhancing interaction and cooperation between teachers and students. Although their relevance is evident, challenges persist in terms of access, quality, and evaluation of technological educational initiatives. To address these challenges, a comprehensive literature review was conducted, examining 26 international academic studies published in the last five years. The findings indicate that mediating technologies positively influence motivation, student retention, and self-directed learning, especially in higher education and language teaching. However, the effects vary depending on the context. It is ...

The study aimed to apply workshops to improve basic digital skills in initial education. It proceeds with the pre-experimental design (pre- and post-test) for a sample of 42 participants selected by intentional non-probabilistic sampling and as a relevant result, the majority of the participating subjects raised the initial averages by 11 points, findings verified after the application of the program. From the study it is concluded that a determining cause of the announced weaknesses is due to the fact that the participating subjects do not correspond t...
