Objective: Determine the relationship between the price of fishmeal and the economic added value in Austral Group SAA. Methods: It was based on a model that uses a non-experimental longitudinal exploratory approach, a quantitative correlational research focused on a representative company. Results: Regarding the price of flour and the added economic value, there is a negative relationship between both variables with a high level of significance for the price (p <10%), other significant variables are capital investment and the level of capture but with a positive relationship. Conclusions: The price of flour is a component of the value of exports, but also of the costs of Austral Group SAA and other companies in the sector. A higher price of flour raises labor costs and fishing rights, these payments should be reformulated to reduce the negative relationship.

The objective of the study was to demonstrate that the important values of frozen shrimp have to include, in addition to the average, the standard deviation as an indicator for competitive analysis in teaching and university research. The research is non-experimental, longitudinal and exploratory. The export information of Peru was analyzed, which is found in the official export statistics of Peru, originating in the Single Customs Declarations (DUAs) of SUNAT, from the periods 2015 to 2021. During said period, Peruvian exports of shrimps frozen were mainly made up of whole prawns; shell-less tails and shell-on tails. In addition, exports increased, but not at better international prices, focused on the United States and the company MARINASOL, which sold more, but at low prices, mainly to China. In the Pandemic (2020 - 2021), the United States bought less than China, but also at lo...

It analyzes the structural change in the context of the price band in the Andean Pact in order to advance proposals for the reform of Decision 37.1 so that it can consider the systematic and sustained changes in the international product market. The focus of the work is statistical, since the system is updated using moving averages and statistical criteria. Thirteen time series used in the price band system are analyzed and univariate models are proposed for each one of them. Furthermore, a rule is proposed to define the structural change, and the univariate models obtained are used to prove said rule using Monte Carlo test for the thirteen products. It is concluded that the price band system can be useful to face short-term fluctuations in international prices, as well as long-term adjustments, but it is not prepared to solve problems generated by structural changes, so it can be modifi...

This paper analyzes the organizational strategies of the five most important national economic groups in the Peruvian mining industry – Buenaventura, Brescia, Volcan, Hochschild, and Milpo – during the first decade of this century, a period characterized by a sustained mining boom resulting from rising international prices of metals and by increased socio-environmental conflicts. In the unprecedented context of the boom, these mining groups strengthened their finances as a result of windfall profits, reformulated their business strategies in response to socio-environmental conflicts, reinforced (with the exception of Milpo Group) their principal characteristic as enterprises under the control and ownership of Peruvian families, and initiated the internationalization of their investments.

The article aims to understand and estimate the influence of development of the international context, especially China’s economic growth, on the large positive performance of exports of Peru´s nontraditional agriculture products in the 1990- 2010 period. In the context of an economic model, econometric regressions made show that China’s economic growth has lead to increases in imports, therefore in the demand and international prices, which has contributed to the growth of Peruvian agricultural exports. The elasticity of the income of demand estimated that for every increase of 1% of Chinese GDP, exports of nontraditional agriculture products in Peru grew by 1,3%, approximately.

This article aims to analyze the effects generated by international economic crisis on the exports of a small open economy. Assuming that the international crisis is expressed in global recession and increases in the exchange rate, we evaluate the effect of these two facts on exports through graphical simulations of a previously developed microeconomic model. In the framework of the model of a global recession, especially of the most important countries, results in a fall in import demand, leading to a decline in international prices and, consequently, a decrease of exports. The drop in exports is higher in the non-traditional sector than the traditional exports. The increase in the exchange rate affects exports positively.

The countries that have supported its development based on innovation, knowledge, science and technology have achieved much more favorable results than those only having focused their macro and micro economy in extraction activities such as mining. The instability of this sector and its attachment to the international scene determines that the indicators of economic growth also have the same behavior. That is, its sustainability is correlated to signs of the global economy, especially those countries demanding raw materials. Moreover, expenses and investments in social projects such as the same budgetary resources, are subject to the vagaries of international prices of minerals. Furthermore, studies have shown that governments with more corruption, are those with abundant natural resources, which by the way, also constitute the starting point of the social convulsions observed.

Objective: The research established the relation of the level of fine or aromatic cocoa production and the income level of farmers in the province of Manabí during the period 2006 - 2015.  Method: The study approach is quantitative because statistics procedures were used, specifically the Pearson's linear correlation coefficient to determine the covariation of the related variables, making it possible to analyze them. Results: One of the main results is that there is a strong positive relationship between the level of scientific - technological production of fine   or aromatic  cocoa and the level of income of farmers in the province. It should be taken into account that the level of production reached a peak from 2011 and 2014 unlike the level of income that began increasing  in 2009 and in 2014 already represented a contribution of 1.6% in relation to the GDP ...

The objective of this article is to provide an overview of the economic, social, community and productive model of Bolivia from 2006 to 2022, the model seeks mainly to maintain stable prices, i.e. low inflation with a control on domestic prices through the fixed exchange rate and international prices with fuel subsidies that are affected by the price of oil. All this, supported by the macroeconomic variables that we will study, such as the collapse of foreign currency income or dollars through the export of natural gas and savings from the deaccumulation of gold, foreign currency and special drawing rights, as well as the increase in spending on foreign debt, public spending in the state apparatus with fiscal deficit levels and subsidies for imports of diesel and gasoline fuels especially, each of these variables affected the country's savings through the net international reserves, as r...
