The company aimed at determining its actual storage capacity and presenting a proposal to increase its cold storage capacity to meet the demands of the coming years. A four-phase project planning and evaluation methodology was used: market study, technical study, financial and economic study, and results. During the project, these three studies and their results were analyzed. The results of this research suggest to expand the warehouse by increasing its installed capacity to 67,500 kilograms. This expansion will allow the correct operation of the distribution center/warehouse during a minimum of 5 years and even for 9 years.

In the editorial of number 4 of 2017 the results of the meeting of editors of Latin American obstetrics and gynecology journals, Cancun 2017 (1), are presented, these events allow the exchange of experiences and collaboration (2), and should be replicated by other specialized magazines. Currently of the seven Latin American journals specialized in gynecology and obstetrics indexed in SciELO, six of them are also indexed in Scopus with the exception of the Peruvian Journal of Gynecology and Obstetrics. Therefore, collaboration between publishers and associations that promote scientific journals is a strength that could support future indexation.

This work is an approximation to a deeper analysis of Peru’s trade negotiations processes, with the aim to develop a medium term negotiation’s strategy.Through the document, the importance of World Trade Organization’s negotiations is outlined because, on one hand, there are increasing interrelations and interdependencies among trade negotiations of the Doha Round, the Free Trade Area of the Americas (FTAA) and the probable Free Trade Area with the United States (FTA-US); and, on the other hand, WTO’s negotiations face greater difficulties which are reflected on the road towards the Ministerial Meeting of Cancun in September 2003.Furthermore, the document presents probable settings of negotiation and predicts that, from the FTA-US negotiations or a FTAA, Peru would only achieve greater market access conditions, but deeper trade rules would only be obtained in the framework of...

The research consists of a basic, quantitative, and descriptive study aimed at analyzing the seasonality (V1) and demand (V2) behavior of airline tickets sold by the travel agency Jungle Tours & Travels E.I.R.L., Iquitos. It presents a non-experimental, longitudinal design, opting to observe the variables in their natural context without intentionally manipulating them, taking data from different time periods, specifically from 2020 to 2024. The study population comprised 60 monthly sales records from the 2020-2024 period. As the sample was equal to the population, the sampling was census-type. General results showed that total revenue from airline ticket sales during the study period reached US$2,296,886.82 (excluding surcharges such as card commissions and ticket remittance), with 2024 leading (37.46%), followed by the years 2021 (20.88%), 2023 (18.44%), 2022 (18.01%), and 2020 (5.21%)...

En los últimos años el funcionamiento de la OMC (Organización Mundial del Comercio) concentró buena parte de la atención de los gobiernos, de la propia institución, de organizaciones no gubernamentales (ONG) y de los analistas del comercio internacional. El colapso de la Conferencia Ministerial de Seattle (1999) y Cancún (2003) y las dificultades para lograr acuerdos en la actual ronda de negociaciones comerciales -lanzada en Doha (Qatar) en noviembre de 2001- generalizó la sensación de que el sistema multilateral de comercio enfrenta una cierta parálisis, por su deficiente capacidad institucional para responder a los desafíos que plantea la administración y regulación de la globalización económica en el siglo XXI.

It is known that Peruvian scientific production continues with low indicators when compared to the South American context (1). Research in the regions and at the national level is little promoted and even less funded, and is practically confined to universities and research institutes (2). Only 24% of the projects to obtain the title of specialist of a Peruvian university come to be published (3). Tourism in Natural Protected Areas (ANP) has increased in recent years and the trend is that it continues to do so. This has been beneficial, mainly economic and social, but at the same time, a worldwide concern has arisen from the environmental consequences that development can produce in these natural spaces. Currently, there are protected natural areas that receive a number of visitors unthinkable in the past, and seasonally resemble mass tourism destinations, which previously only arise in beaches and cities, as is the case of the model of tourist development of the city of Cancun. En el mundo existen varios destinos turísticos a nivel mundial que el segmento de turistas LGTBI; suelen visitar como, por ejemplo; solo en el continente americano los lugares más visitados y preferidos por este nicho turístico de mercado, según diario Publimetro (2015) son: Buenos Aires (Argentina), San Francisco (Estados Unidos), Ciudad de México (México), Cancún (México) y Sao Paulo (Brasil). The article analyzes the promotion of South Korean popular culture, known as Hallyu, in the Peruvian magazine Asian World from its journalistic treatment during the years 2019 - 2020. The study aimed to identify in news terms the main elements of this phenomenon of expansion of pop music, soap operas and fan club events, thanks to the Internet and social networks. To do so, it covered eight editions of the publication on the characteristics of the cover, special section and doramas section. It is concluded that the dissemination of news about K-pop and doramas encourages Hallyu in Peru, as explained by McLuhan (1971) when referring to the global village that describes the immediacy of information through globalization and the internet, which allow its propagation throughout the planet in a dynamic, permanent and current way.

Este estudio pretende proponer una solución al problema de identificar el sentimiento de comentarios en español, debido a las variaciones idiomáticas existentes en los diversos países Latinoamericanos, plasmados en redes sociales usando como ejemplo el contexto político de una provincia de Argentina. Para lograrlo, se utilizó una combinación de un algoritmo de aprendizaje no supervisado, para hacer la pseudo clasificación, con un algoritmo de aprendizaje supervisado, para el modelo de clasificación. Los resultados muestran que el nivel de precisión obtenido es 93%, lo cual es mayor que los niveles de precisión encontrados en estudios previos.
