description Los investigadores describen la implementación del LPS con la participación del equipo de Logística sobre cada etapa durante la ejecución de un proyecto de construcción en una mediana empresa. Generaron los siguientes resultados: a) El principal problema que involucra al equipo de logística y que genera más pérdidas en el proyecto es la demora en la entrega de pedidos de materiales a obra; b) para aplicar LPS proponen una estructura organizacional de forma matricial simplificada; c) proponen procesos de abastecimiento, recepción, distribución y entrega, almacenamiento en la cadena de abastecimiento de materiales a obra; d) los investigadores, en base a un análisis de los resultados del Look Ahead semanal, ha identificado un valor de PPC de 84 % y las CNC son la falla logística en la entrega del acero y el retraso por el subcontrato de encofrado, las cuales tienen una causa que involucra al personal de obra, lo cual es significativo en las actividades de estas empresas. Respecto a la mejora económica, la utilidad del proyecto usando LPS sobre los resultados reales sin LPS es del 100.3%, lo cual, a pesar de aumentar los gastos generales (25.8% sobre los reales), impacta de forma positiva. Esto demuestra que la implementación del LPS en los procesos logísticos de las medianas o pequeñas empresas constructoras mejora de forma directa y amplificada la rentabilidad de sus proyectos.
