Se apoya en investigaciones previas acerca la posedición y el empleo de motores de traducción automática neuronal con textos especializados. Asimismo, considera relevante la hegemonía del inglés en la producción de textos técnicos y la teoría del escopo como elementos clave que influencian al encargo de posedición, así como las características únicas que posee un público objetivo especializado en comparación a un grupo de lectores lego. Si bien este trabajo estima que la literatura sobre el traductor y la posedición está en aumento, no se ha encontrado un estudio en forma de análisis textual que nos permita detectar de manera clara el grado de participación que tiene un traductor humano en el proceso de posedición de un texto técnico financiero. Por ello, esta investigación analiza el resultado de la traducción automática del texto seleccionado a través de un análisis textual desde tres enfoques: léxico-semánticos, morfosintácticos y estilístico-pragmáticos. Evalúa las implicancias de los errores de la traducción automática en la comprensión del texto y explora los argumentos que validan la posedición propuesta por el traductor humano. Finalmente, concluye que el traductor tiene un grado de intervención mucho más marcado en los aspectos léxico-semánticos y morfosintácticos en la posedición completa de un texto financiero cuyo público es un grupo de especialistas formados en el mismo ámbito académico al que pertenece el texto origen.

It builds upon previous research on post-editing and the use of neural machine translation engines with specialized texts. It also considers the hegemony of English in the production of technical texts and the Skopos theory as key elements that influence the post-editing assignment, as well as the unique characteristics that a specialized target audience possesses in comparison to a group of laypersons. While this research estimates that the literature on the translator and the post-editing is on the rise, no study has been found in the form of a textual analysis that allows us to detect clearly the degree of participation that the human translator has in the post-editing process of a financial technical text. Therefore, this research analyzes the result of the machine translation of the chosen text through a textual analysis from three approaches: lexical-semantic, morphosyntactic and stylistic-pragmatic. It evaluates the implication of machine translation errors on text comprehension and explores the arguments that validate the post-editing presented by the translator.
