Se aplicó el cuestionario a 135 estudiantes universitarios peruanos, quienes parti-ciparon activamente y manifestaron su percepción respecto a la práctica del sexting, obteniéndose como resultado que existe un nivel alto de empatía por las víctimas de esta práctica que origina vulne-ración de derechos de la persona, específicamente a su honor y reputación.

The methodology used was focused on the positivist paradigm, quantitative approach, descriptive type, deductive method, non-experimental and transectional design.
