description La presente tesis denominada: “Estudio De Transitabilidad Vial en la Avenida Aeropuerto, Distrito de Huanchaco, Trujillo - La Libertad, Aplicando la Metodología AASHTO 93” fue desarrollada con el objetivo de diseñar el pavimento flexible de todo Avenida Aeropuerto en el distrito de Huanchaco, que permita beneficiar a los pobladores, a los conductores, vehiculares y peatonales. Uno de los problemas más graves y con mayor urgencia a resolver, es el caos vehicular por falta de una buena pavimentación. Caos generador de consecuencias nefastas como el incremento de la contaminación, serios daños a nuestra salud, el aumento del índice de mortalidad y pérdida económica debido al tiempo que desperdiciamos. Por lo que esta investigación tiene como finalidad mejorar la situación actual de la Avenida Aeropuerto, ya que de esta manera se evitaran todo tipo de accidentes de tránsito y a la vez se optimizaran los tiempos de recorrido de los vehículos, teniendo en cuenta que la zona de estudio empieza desde el Ovalo Huanchaco hasta el Aeropuerto Internacional Capitán FAP Carlos Martínez de Pinillos, en la que tiene que estar buenas condiciones ya que diariamente llegan turistas nacionales e internacionales. Esta tesis está desarrollada por capítulos en los cuales se formula un problema y una alternativa de solución a partir de la realidad problemática de la zona de estudio; se plantea hacer el estudio de la transitabilidad vial abarcando los puntos de realizar el diseño del pavimento flexible según la metodología AASHTO 93, el diseño geométrico y diseño de señalización vial para la solución del planteamiento del problema.

One of the most serious problems and with more urgency to solve, is the vehicular chaos for lack of a good paving. Chaos generator of dire consequences such as increased pollution, serious damage to our health, increased mortality rate and economic loss due to time wasted. Therefore, this research aims to improve the current situation of Avenue Airport, since this way they will avoid all types of traffic accidents and at the same time optimize the travel times of the vehicles, taking into account that the study starts from the Huanchaco Oval to the Captain FAP Carlos Martínez de Pinillos International Airport, which has to be in good condition as national and international tourists arrive daily.
