Doctorado en Ciencia AnimalEl nivel de proteína cruda es un factor principal en dietas para pollos de engorde, debido a que una modificación puede afectar el rendimiento productivo. El estudio tiene como objetivo analizar el impacto de la proteína cruda en el rendimiento productivo de pollos de engorde, utilizando la técnica del meta-análisis. Una revisión sistemática fue realizada de las bases de datos: Scopus, Pubmed y Web of Science. Resultados de ganancia de peso, consumo de alimento y conversión alimenticia en fases de inicio, crecimiento y acabado, fueron calculados mediante Standardized Mean Differences (SMD) con intervalo de confianza (IC) de 95 por ciento. El mayor nivel de proteina cruda incrementó la ganancia de peso en fases de inicio (SMD = 0.57, IC: 0.32, 0.82) crecimiento (SMD = 0.57, IC: 0.32, 0.82) y acabado (SMD = 0.18, IC: 0.01, 0.38). El mayor nivel de proteina cruda impactó positivamente en conversión alimenticia en fases de inicio (SMD = -0.26, IC: -0.52, -0.01), crecimiento (SMD = -0.24, IC: -0.38, -0.10) y acabado (SMD = -0.14, IC: -0.39, 0.12). El consumo de alimento solo presenta un aumento con el mayor nivel de proteina cruda en fase de crecimiento (SMD = 0.31, IC: 0.13, 0.48), mientras que en inicio (SMD = 0.03, IC: -0.13, 0.18) y acabado (SMD = 0.02, IC: -0.31, 0.35) no presentaron efecto. En conclusión, el mayor nivel de proteina cruda impacta positivamente en ganacia de peso, consumo de alimento (fase de crecimiento) y conversión alimenticia, indicando la importancia de brindar dietas con niveles óptimos de proteína cruda según requerimiento nutricional, evitando realizar reducciones que afecten el rendimiento productivo.Crude protein level is a key factor on broiler chickens diets, due to a modification may affect productive performance. This study has the objective to analyze the impact of the crude protein on productive performance of btoiler chickens, using the meta-analysis thecnique. A systematic review was performed from database of Scopus, Pubmed, and Web of Science. The higuer crude protein level impacted positively in feed conversion ratio in starter (SMD = -0.26, CI: -0.52, -0.01), grower (SMD = -0.24, CI: -0.38, -0.10), and finisher phases (SMD = -0.14, CI: -0.39, 0.12). Feed intake shows only an increased with higuer crude protein level in grower phase (SMD = 0.31, CI: 0.13, 0.48), while starter (SMD = 0.03, CI: -0.13, 0.18) and finisher phases (SMD = 0.02, CI: -0.31, 0.35) no showed effects.
