description La presente investigación se elaboró con el objetivo de determinar la relación entre inteligencia emocional y conductas disruptivas en estudiantes del tercer grado de secundaria de una institución educativa, Los Olivos. Se desarrollo bajo el enfoque cuantitativo, se empleó un diseño no experimental de corte transversal y el tipo de investigación descriptivo correlacional. La muestra fue de 75 estudiantes quienes se les aplicó dos instrumentos validados y con alta confiabilidad. Los resultados indicaron existe una relación inversa y de un nivel medio entre sus variables con un valor de Rho de Spearman correlación de -0.057 y una significancia bilateral de 0,629. Concluyendo que si existe una correlación inversa entre las dos variables mencionas, se determinándose que a mayor de la inteligencia emocional de los participantes las conductas disruptivas disminuyen.
