Learning filmmaking could favor the self-representation of Afro-descendants, giving them the ability to generate their own discourses that allow the preservation and inheritance of their culture, as well as its public manifestation in order to achieve authentic recognition in the public sphere.La representación cinematográfica de las personas afrodescendientes ha sido narrada desde una mirada hegemónica que observa desde el centro hacia la periferia. Esto incide en que los discursos que se han construido al respecto están cargados de estereotipos que se transmiten de generación en generación y sostienen la alterofobia.
