Resultados: Se evaluaron 348 piezas anteriores, de las cuales se detectó el TG en el 99.1%; en 3 casos no se detectó el TG en las piezas que presentaban alguna alteración en la erupción; no habiendo una asociación estadisticamente significativa; en su totalidad fueron isodensas, el 97.4% fueron de forma redondeada/ovalda en vista axial y 69.3% de forma tubular en vista coronal/sagital; la orientación fue central en 50.1% con una trayecto recto en el 98.4%. Conclusiones: Existe alta frecuencia de detección del TG en piezas anteriores con y sin alteración en la erupción. A menor edad del paciente habrá mayor detección del TG; sin embargo en relación al sexo, densidad, forma, orientación y trayecto no hubo diferencia significativa; pudiendo concluir que estas características no influyen en la detección del TG.

Results: 348 anterior teeth were evaluated, of which TG was detected in 99.13%; in 3 cases TG was not detected in the teeth that presented some alteration in the eruption; there being no statistically significant association; in their totality they were isodense, 97.4% were of rounded/oval shape in axial view and 69.3% of tubular shape in coronal/sagittal view; orientation was central in 50% with a straight path in 98%. Conclusions: There is a high frequency of detection of TG in anterior teeth with and without altered eruption.
