The latter is lost over time. In this case, it was investigated in the population of Shipibos, arriving from the Amazon to Lima, in which evidence was found that attempts to rescue part of that loss. In this article we analyze this intercultural phenomenon, in which, the Shipibo-Conibo in the new urban scene retain their ethnic identity, culture, customs; and its native language. Among the findings, we analyze the role of the Shipiba woman and the jungle school as a pillar for the conservation of that culture.La migración de pueblos a la capital les ha generado una ruptura en la continuidad y sobrevivencia de sus costumbres, de su lengua materna. Esta última se va perdiendo a lo largo del tiempo. En este caso, se indagó en la población de Shipibos, llegados desde la Amazonía a Lima, en la cual se encontraron evidencias que intentan rescatar parte de esa pérdida. En este artículo analizamos este fenómeno intercultural, en el cual, los Shipibo-Conibo en el nuevo escenario urbano conservan su identidad étnica, cultura, costumbres; y su lengua originaria.
