El presente trabajo, es resultado de la investigación titulada “Estrategias cognitivas de aprendizaje y el nivel de razonamiento geométrico en los estudiantes, especialidad de Mecánica de Producción I.E.S.T.P. Manuel Seoane Corrales Lima – 2 015”. La investigación desarrollada fue básica, se ha empleado un diseño de estudio no experimental, transaccional, de un enfoque cuantitativo de tipo descriptivo correlacional. Con una muestra poblacional de 111 estudiantes de carrera profesional de mecánica de producción. Para medir las variables de estudio se empleó como técnica la encuesta y como instrumento el cuestionario, el cual fue debidamente validado y aplicado a los usuarios de la muestra censal. The migration of peoples to the capital has generated a break in the continuity and survival of their customs, their mother tongue. The latter is lost over time. In this case, it was investigated in the population of Shipibos, arriving from the Amazon to Lima, in which evidence was found that attempts to rescue part of that loss. In this article we analyze this intercultural phenomenon, in which, the Shipibo-Conibo in the new urban scene retain their ethnic identity, culture, customs; and its native language. Among the findings, we analyze the role of the Shipiba woman and the jungle school as a pillar for the conservation of that culture.
