description El presente trabajo de investigación titulado “La Participación del Niño y Niña en la Educación Inicial que Recibe” tiene como finalidad adentrarse en la participación del niño y la niña en la educación inicial que recibe y profundizar acerca de la participación que tiene en su educación. En el primer capítulo nos introduce a un marco legal donde están plasmadas las normas nacionales e internacionales que reconocen el derecho de participación del niño y adolescente. En el segundo capítulo exponemos el concepto de la educación inicial desde sus inicios en el Perú, resaltando los hitos más importantes y el impacto que tuvo a consecuencia de la pandemia del COVID 19 en el desarrollo de los niños de educación inicial. En el tercer capítulo hablamos sobre la participación infantil y la educación inicial dando importancia a los enfoques que promueven la participación infantil desde el punto de vista del estado, mediante los municipios escolares, y desde la iniciativa privada, como es el caso de las escuelas democráticas y las escuelas activas. Por último, presentamos nuestras reflexiones finales que recalcan que la participación de los niños y niñas, como un proceso que permite formar niños autónomos, independientes que desarrollan sus propias experiencias, desarrollan habilidades y destrezas para su participación, opinión, tolerancia y el saber escuchar a los demás, fundamental para contribuir a la formación de una ciudadanía con capacidades y valores para el ejercicio de la democracia.

In the first chapter he introduces us to a legal framework where the national and international norms that recognize the right of participation of children and adolescents are embodied. In the second chapter we present the concept of initial education from its beginnings in Peru, highlighting the most important milestones and the impact that it had as a result of the COVID 19 pandemic on the development of children in initial education. In the third chapter we talk about child participation and initial education giving importance to approaches that promote child participation from the point of view of the state, through school municipalities, and from the private initiative, as is the case of democratic schools. and active schools. Also, in these chapter two studies are presented that present tools and strategies to collect the opinion of the child.
