The article begins with a brief reference to conscious and unconscious aspects of the human mind and their role in psychic disfunction. The author asks himself about the place of the conscious in Psychotherapy. Fundamental concepts of Rational Emotive Therapy are discussed and an alternative that takes into account the directive and psychoanalytical approaches, proposed. Three clinical examples illustrate the theoretical work.

The following paper briefly describes the Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder as probably responsible for low academic performance in cases where the intellectual ability and learning skills do not show any impairment. The paper discusses general definitions, symptoms, etiology, diagnosis, treatment, and prognosis.

The present study had as its main objective the elaboration of norms for the population of the city of Lima, with the Domino's Test. The variables taken into consideration are age, sex and leve! of instruction. The results make evident the significative differences existing according to the level if instruction. This must be considered as a fundamental variable in the elaboration of norms in our milieu.
