| Sumario: | The article begins with a brief reference to conscious and unconscious aspects of the human mind and their role in psychic disfunction. The author asks himself about the place of the conscious in Psychotherapy. Fundamental concepts of Rational Emotive Therapy are discussed and an alternative that takes into account the directive and psychoanalytical approaches, proposed. Three clinical examples illustrate the theoretical work. |
