La presente investigación tuvo como objetivo determinar la relación entre los factores del rendimiento académico y el aprendizaje del curso de química general, en una muestra de estudiantes de la facultad de Ingeniería Química y Textil, de la Universidad Nacional de Ingeniería en el año 2013. Se utilizó un diseño descriptivo correlacional, con una muestra de 216 estudiantes a quienes se les aplicó un instrumento de evaluación: el inventario de factores de rendimiento académico de Manuel Torres. Este instrumento fue sometido a los análisis respectivos que determinaron que la prueba es válida y confiable. Para el aprendizaje del curso de Química general I se tomaron las notas que se encuentran registradas en las actas y que obran en poder de la Oficina de Registros Académicos. This paper aims to show the various types of data that contain in an intrinsically way fuzzy or imperfect data that are presented in the real world. A form of implementation is described that allows extending the capabilities of a database by using layers levels, emphasizing in the concept of inheritance. What is described is illustrated by an example applied to the Peruvian reality, which is shown with a certain level of detail.

The present work has as objective to apply data mining techniques to develop a predictive model to forecast the chance of passing that will have a college student at the time of enrolling in a particular subject. Given that the academic record of the student can be known, and based on that information, we propose an Artificial Neural Network (ANN) that allows, using various configurations, to predict and assess our goal. The model has been applied to a compulsory subject of higher education of a University and given the results obtained. This model can be applied to any other subject analogous with satisfactory results.

THE OBJECTIVE OF THIS RESEARCH WAS TO EVALUATE THE SUSTAINABILITY OF A CO-TREATMENT SYSTEM THAT COMBINES MUNICIPAL WASTEWATER (MW) AND ACID MINE DRAINAGE (AMD) THROUGH THE TECHNIQUE OF INTERMITTENT ELECTROCOAGULATION, APPLIED AS AN ADVANCED SOLUTION TO IMPROVE CONTAMINANT REMOVAL EFFICIENCY AND OPTIMIZE ENERGY BALANCE.
